Day 128: Today was a great day for running. The weather was just perfect for an afternoon training session. I had one goal today, completing one mile at the target race pace. I’m happy with my effort, I was right on point and that gave me tons of confidence. Day 118: I’m starting to get some good speed out of my workouts. I’m keeping some high intensity sets mixed in each session with lots of rest in between sets to avoid burning myself out. Day 116: While swimming the first few laps, I noticed that my arms were tired and every stroke felt heavy. Instead of stressing myself out, I adjusted the training on the spot.
