Infj-t looking for internet friends?

I'm 19 (18.05.99), from Oslo, Norway, I love 80's music, new wave, blues and rock music. I'm half Nicaraguan (latin-american). Cat person, but loves all animals, especially sheep. The biggest Jack White fan. I'm studying religion science at uni, but I'm agnostic (not religious). I love nature, cities and art. I'm a vegetarian (have been since birth). I work as a cashier for a Norwegian food store. I'm only 1,56 cm short. I love everything around me that makes me feel alive in an ecstatic way. I feel like our time on earth is too limited, yet I keep having existential crisis. I'm very emotional, but still see myself as a happy person. I go swimming for fun once in a while, and enjoy living my fantasy. I'm the kind of person who enjoys shopping alone. I love deep talks, but mostly I joke around being the funny friend who comes off as extremely extroverted. I recently quit taekwondo (had a black belt actually), because I got lazy. Now I swim at the local swimming pool by myself or with my mom, even though I suck at it. I love singing.

Other things: I love RPDR, my bffs are intp-a and estj, my boyfriend for three years is enfp-a, I don't believe in horoscopes, I am very creative, I support the lgbtq-community of course (I'm not an ass). I don't have any siblings.

Introversion

Do you know what being introverted really means?

A lot of people would say: "Of course I do, I'm not stupid,", and some people actually DO know, but loads of people don't. They know parts of it and made up their own meaning, or they just go with the little things they know about it. I've actually met a lot of people in the past few years that just don't believe in extrovert and introvert people. Some people are shy and others are just outgoing. Wrong.

Introvert does not have to mean that the person is shy or not social. Sure, it may seem so, but there are a lot of outgoing and social introverts, You just don't think of them of introvert because they are really good at socialising.

I've been looking up the definition of introvert a lot lately, a lot of sites and dictionaries say the same thing:

"1. A shy person

2. Psychology. a person characterized by concern primarily with his or herown thoughts and feelings (opposed to extrovert)."

And of course, that's partly true, but I don't think every introvert ís shy. I think a lot of introverts actually love socialising. We just need to recharge after being around people, preferably on our own, in silent places, like the library or a small cafe that no one knows about. Or at home, in your favourite place.

Okay, back to what I actually wanted to say. After not being satisfied by a dictionary-given answer, I went on looking for other definitions and explanations about introversion. So I came across this site that you may have heard from somewhere (introvertspring.com), and it gave me a great explanation about introverts.

The most basic definition of an introvert is a person who gains energy from being alone and loses energy in stimulating environments, such as social events (people are very stimulating, by the way).

An other site (thoughtcatalog.com), explained more about the typed of introverts. There are four different types, it explains. The introverted sensors (ISTJ & ISFJ), the introverted feelers (INFP & ISFP), the introverted thinkers (INTP & ISTP), and the introverted intuitives (INTJ & INFJ). (source)

More about me (ew, I know). I am an INFJ, I am introverted, but I like socialising, even though I often find it difficult to do so. I used to work in a store where I would chat with customers and did not find it difficult to approach them, and I loved it. Thing is, even though I loved being around those people, I would always be exhausted coming home, not being able to even be around my own family for a while because it would just make me so tired and emotional.

Same things with birthdays, I love talking with people, but there's a point that I can't go to my room or to a silent secluded place, so I just snap and become silent and distant until we go home.

I just felt like I had to explain that introversion does not mean that someone is shy or not social, these things are not the same thing, so think about that!
