SO UH. guess who got their painkiller injection on their wrist today?

i was told it was just an assessment appointment so no jab or anything, and the surgeon there was like doing tests and could feel the inflammation and he was like "yeah so i think injections is a good call" and went into the pros and cons and aftercare and then was like "anyways im gonna scrub up, if you wanna take a seat there" and i was like oh wait i'm getting it today?!? fuck yeah!

so! doc's will call me back in two weeks to see how i'm doing by then! don't want to get my hopes up too much but i AM hoping for some actual pain relief for my hand n wrist for the first time in over two years 🤞🤞🤞

I feel like such a burden to everyone all the time and so I feel obligated to accept any task I can possibly complete even at the expense of extreme pain to me. Anyway this is my intro to saying it hurt me emotionally to have my spouse ask me to help her with several heavily arm intensive tasks on the same day that I got 3 huge injections directly into my trapezius (neck/shoulder curve muscle) for my extreme pain in that area

I wish I glowed on my painful spots or something so that anyone would remember I am hurting so fucking much
