Introspection

I grew up reading a ton as a kid. I think part of that was to avoid introspection. Always having a book on my person allowed me to have something replace internal thoughts with external ones. I grew up before cellphones were a mass have. This isn’t to say I didn’t have times where I was alone with my thoughts. I just avoided them whenever possible.
