Tumtum Hamah: a person whose sex is described as obscured, unknown, having neither or lacking some sexed characteristics, through natural development. Tumtum hamah is usually used for intersex variations where the genitals is covered by skin, but it can also be used for other variations of the agenital spectrum.
Note that this is just my *personal* attempt to define tumtum hamah, this definition isn't carved in stone. Even though adam and hamah are usually only used along with saris & ay'lonit, proposal to expand the hamah/adam distinction to androgynos and tumtum has been made, thus creating distinct gendered and sexed subcategories for each gendered sex.
This term is of a physical nature: they depend upon your physicality, and serve a legal purpose in Judaism. However, anyone Jew can use these terms, regardless of their spiritual practice.

This is an unknown intersex variation. Nothing is known on it.
Self-dx intersex variation culture is.. feeling isolated, and so overwhelmed.
I'd love to get checked ... this variation could be causing hormonal differences, and at times, I want to go on HRT....
Our world is just not built for intersex people. (CW, medical, heavy stuff)
I have reason to believe I was 'altered' as an infant, like many others.
Medically unnecessary, "cosmetic" surgery. It's known to negatively impact quality of life, as well as sexual sensation -

My parents may have not been told. This is the precedent in the US, UK, and many more.
If they chose this, I doubt they'd tell me. So I don't bother to ask.
The medical people aren't required to put these surgeries on healthcare records... Even though it's hugely relevant, imo... So, asking for the true history gets me nowhere.
Sometimes, people can have hormonal / genetic testing done to discover their variation.
I can barely get an appointment for a COVID vaccine, they won't care to test me since it's not life-threatening.
But, there's so much information to sift through.. it's all locked away behind qualifications, or paywalls.
It's coated in dehumanising language, like a cake in icing.
On top of this, with the increase in people 'wishing' to be intersex, I'm sometimes afraid to be open because I don't want to come across as a romanticiser or fetishist.
People seem to think being "intersex" will make their non-binary genders more valid, or something.
People dislike being reduced to their assigned sex, and yet, see no issue with directing this at intersex people...
Most intersex variations are easily missed. They're just human sex variations, they only stand out because people in the past created a binary standard for sex.
I get the impression many people have misunderstood 'intersex' human sex variations to be "androgyny guaranteed", or something.

Yes, this is usually referred to as hypoestrogenism. It's better treated than not if your t isn't making up for it. There are some forms you can take (or low dose) that won't be feminizing if that's a concern
hey i have a really dumb question. would pmdd (pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder) be considered intersex? i don't think so tbh as a perisex (now questioning?) person due to the lack of mention for androgens or other hormones, though i also know that's not the only way for intersex variations to exist, but i genuinely cannot find any sort of answer anywhere leaning one way or the other. i don't care but i just want to know and this is frustrating!
it's not a bad question! i have mixed feelings; i don't really consider it intersex. since i define intersexness as someone who (by natural circumstance) has differences in sex chromosomes, sex hormones, or physical sex traits, leading them not to fit into the sex binary.
so i'd consider PMDD as a reproductive condition, not a sex variation. however, all people with reproductive differences are united in our fight against oppression - intersexism, sexism, and ableism often occur alongside each other. also, many intersex people have reproductive disabilities.
although, some intersex people do consider conditions like PMDD as intersex. but even if we don't, we often still welcome people with shared struggles into our spaces. so yeah, there's no real clear answer. i guess it would come down to what makes you feel empowered, and the community you're in.
