FND Diagnosis

We were officially diagnosed with FND two days ago. Finally feel some sort of relieve and can finally get the help we need. It's a shame though, but it's good that we have people here to support us! <3 - Liaa (Host).

Diagnosis

I wasn’t sure if I should’ve posted this on here or not, but here we go. In May 2023, I was diagnosed with Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures also known as PNES. I have these seizures daily and it can be a real challenge. Having this has changed my life and has answered a lot of questions that I’ve had for so many years. Idk what else to say besides that. So, yeah.

Trying to get a service dog

We have been trying to see if we can get a service dog, but we feel a bit wary due to our plan to move to the UK with our partner. We're anxious about where to begin, so we could use all the advice we can get.

We will be setting up a patreon or a kofi or something to raise some money to get a service dog. We are disabled (Autism, Functional Neurological Disorder, Psychogenic non epileptic seizures etc) and a service dog will definitely help us.

Disability Pride Month honestly makes me feel even more isolated and unaccomplished, and I know it’s my own fault, but seeing everything all these other disabled people are able to do makes me feel super useless and lame 🫠
