also woah, a post dedicated to senku woahhhhh. i know, i know, it's been a while, but i've been on a creative block lately especially since thesis is coming up. if you're worried about me never posting that certain part 3 (or part 0 wink wink), uhhh just be worried about how long it might take... but it will be eventually posted when the time comes. ANYWAYS enjoy this one in the meantime!

you've been in the same school as senku since the start, but you aren't as close to him as yuzuriha and taiju are

you two are friends, yes, but it's more of work/school friends if anything

you and senku share the characteristics of being both straightforward (senku)/blunt (you) and hardworking (and pushing self's limit)

it's generally why the two of you like the other's company because he's useful to you while you're also useful to him

it's also why senku decided to revive you first the next time he'd found more revival fluid (after using what they currently have on ryusui and francois)

it was yuzuriha who was able to salvage some more near the rubbles of the former revival fluid cave

your stone statue stood staring at the direction of where the petrification beam started, your hand flat above your eyes as you looked up in awe. you were one of the few that didn't look to be screaming for fear and running away. it was like you accepted what was going to happen.

as the fluid hit the skin of stone, cracks started forming all over the body. a light passes through each one. and moments later, the stone explodes into fragments releasing the human that was trapped behind it.

you put down the raised hand, placing it on your hip and leaned on one leg as you turned to senku. you gave him a smirk that you used to give him all the time, and he wouldn't say out loud, but he kind of missed seeing it.

"of course you'd be the one to figure this petrification bullshit out, einstein." the nickname rolling off your tongue easily. "now where are my damn clothes you pervert."

after he had handed you the clothes that yuzuriha made for you, the two of you headed back to the kingdom of science for a much needed tour

he gave you a rundown of everything that had happened since he awoken as well as everything that they had re-invented

it was then you noticed an important thing that hadn't been re-invented

of course, being you, you asked senku about it immediately

"you got any other hygienic stuff you re-invented? like tampons, pads, you know, feminine shit," you bluntly asked him to which he was actually caught off guard.

he paused in place as some sort of realization dawned upon him. "why hasn't any of the other women asked about that? most especially the modern ones?" he lets out.

you laughed at his dazed look as you placed a hand on his head. you leaned down towards him, bringing your face closer to his. "probably because, by default, this shit's supposed to be private between women only, and you know, you're a man," you stated. "but i don't give a fuck about that. this shit's biology. it's completely normal."

then you added, "oh also maybe they're probably too shy to ask because, you know, you're a man," you repeated.

senku deadpanned at you. "okay okay, i get it, i'm a man," he says with the roll of his eyes making you chuckle behind your palm.

it was after that that the two of you would work on making feminine products as a side yet priority quest while still working on the perseus

when senku finds himself being done with the work of the perseus for the day, he would go and find you to work on the "pusay quest"—your words not his—and the two of you would work on it from late afternoon until midnight or even later

it would always be him looking for you, and never you looking for him (you never looked for him because you know he'd always come looking for you instead for this "pusay quest")

this would happen almost on a daily, and so people started expecting the two of you to be together after the day's work on the perseus

it gotten to the point that rumors started spreading about the two of you

gen watched as senku walked off after asking where you were. "hasn't he been asking about her since she got de-petrified?" he asked with amusement in his voice. "seems like something~"

"senku?" kohaku scoffs at his words. "he's probably working on something that requires y/n. he did de-petrify her for something—that's just how he is."

"pretty sure i saw y/n come out of senku's place early morning one time," says chrome with a thinking face. "but that could be because y/n needed something from senku. i doubt there's any romance between them. you guys know how senku is, "rOmaNcE iS iLloGiCAl" and also like kohaku said, he probably needed y/n for something."

gen wasn't convinced though, so he asked around.

"those two look good," is all ryusui says, rather confidently too.

"dating?!" lets out nikki with a deep blush on her face. "ah, well..." she covers her face, feeling shy. "they do spend their evenings together intimately as if they were a couple. do you think that's why senku revived y/n?" she then asked.

ukyo looked a bit unsure. "i don't think they stay here, well, within my radius at least, or they're just very quiet," he answered. gen thinks that he was keeping something to himself.

"y/n and senku? they go way back!" exclaimed taiju with a smile on his face, but said nothing more.

"their relationship?" repeated yuzuriha, caught off guard. "well..." she hummed. "they're like rivals, but they also work really well together."

you and senku couldn't care less about the rumors though since you both are too busy with making suitable feminine products, especially since you're the perfectionist and is also quite picky with products

when you and senku had finished the first batch, he thought that was it, but you told him that you'd test them out first, both the tampons and pads since (luckily or unluckily) your menstruation had just started then

that was the start of a long trial-and-error period

it was also then you and senku asked yuzuriha for help when it came to trying to get softer material for the comfort of the "pusay"—again your words—for the tampons and pads

"so this is what the you two have been doing..." she muttered, owlishly blinking at the blueprints and notes and the failed attempts.

"you referring to the rumors about me and einstein over there?" you jerked your head towards senku as you placed your elbow on her shoulder. "those are so funny," you commented. "i mean i wish i was getting fucked during ovulation."

yuzuriha's face exploded into a red hue while senku sighed out loud as he palmed his face, though his ears are tipped red.

senku, at some point, wanted other women to test the tampons and pads out, but you heavily argued against this saying, "can you think of any other women who can be as blunt and as uncaring of social norms as me?"

thinking about it, senku for sure didn't want to deal with any awkward women beating around the bush about how they felt while wearing the feminine products—he wanted straightforward answers which you are already perfectly giving, so he decided against it

although a part of him thinks that you just wanted to keep him to yourself to which he won't complain about as long as it keeps you working

slowly, the two of you got yuzuriha to also start testing them out

she won't really be one of the awkward women who'll beat around the bush—no—she knows how senku is (to the extension, how you are), but she won't exactly be as blunt as you—she'll treat it as if leaving a review on a product

when yuzuriha joined in on the project, you had also asked her to start making proper panties that can comfortably hold a (sanitary) pad for women to which she got all excited about and sped off to her "lair"

that was when you and senku pulled through with more prototypes since time was ticking and you also realized how selfish you were being (with spending time with senku)

with more products being done, slowly you also pulled in other women to "test" the products

"you're embarrassed?" you bluntly called out with an annoyed face. "just think of him as your doctor; he's technically the only proper one we have for fuck's sake!"

the girl that you were screaming at ended up running away. she almost bumps into senku who was walking into your hut. "so what was that about?" he asks.

you huff then cross your arms together. "just some shy girl who heard about our pussay quest. jeez, it's like so obvious that you're also working on this project; i don't why she didn't think so!"

senku chuckles at your mad statements. "since when did you open this project to other testers?" he asked.

"well, i know i said it's best not to drag other women into this, but then i'm getting impatient and then i realized how selfish i've been because i just wanted this project to be a you and me kind of thing, you know?" you explained. "like... like the old times..." then you add in a mutter.

senku's eyes on you softens. "you're my partner, y/n. that's never going to change even thousands of years had past." he smirks. "besides, what use could you be when you're not beside me?"

you stare at senku with an open mouth, shocked beyond your years. "holy shit senku. that sounded so bad, but i know what you mean and that was probably the most romantic thing you could ever tell me." you start laughing.

senku's ears turn slightly red. "shut up!" he grabs your arm and drags you out of your hut. "we've got work to do!"

after that intimate moment between you two, you both went into this "locked in" mode to try and finish the feminine hygiene products which eventually got you two to the final four (which were also voted by the women who became part of testing the products)

nearing the end of the perseus project, the was when you decided to "release" the feminine products for the women of the island and village

"can all the women gather up!" you announced on top the makeshift stage that gen asked to make that one time. the spot in front of the stage slowly forms a crowd of women (and the curious men at the back). "okay, so me and senku got to working on another project; a side project, if you will."

senku then walked on stage, pushing a cart with the final four products. the modern time women recognized them immediately and started cheering in their own silent ways.

"to the women from the modern times, you may immediately recognize what these are; while the women from after stone may not," you introduced. "welcome to the era of being able to use proper products during the red moon! these products are capable to catching your blood either while being attached to your underwear or directly inside of your pussay." picking up a pad, you raised it up in the air. "this is called a sanitary pad or napkin but most people use either pad or napkin. with the new line of underwear made by yuzuriha, you can easily attach it there like so—"

and then you continue to introduce each product with demonstrations (of course, for the tampon, you used a similar model made by senku)

after this pussay quest, you didn't necessarily became one of the "main" people like with important jobs like senku and ruisui—instead you ended up having this overseer role that allows you to just complain and "guide" the main group into doing things properly

aka a role that senku gave you in a whim just so that he can keep you next to him, especially when you have a need to start another side project quest

masterlist i genuinely did not know how to end this because how would it end....? anyways, not sure if anon wanted it to be like this, but it just turned out like this. i'm starting to realize that all of senku pairups i have are somewhat the same characters, but that's kinda fun since i really think senku would be with someone similar to him: blunt, headstrong, assertive in a way, but also tsundere. The Space Where Fear Lives

Synopsis: You quickly realize how fast your day can be ruined when your son suddenly has a severe reaction to something you're unaware of. You and Senku must preserve in this stressful situation, as your son's life depends on it.

Word Count: 1440

TW: blood, loss of pulse, shock, anaphylaxis, hospitals

AN: I do use y/n a few times and a lot of dashes to show like interjections and add some dramatics (please don't beat me up I know how people get when em dashes are involved)

The afternoon had been peaceful.

Warm sunlight through the windows. The quiet hum of Senku tinkering in his home lab. Your son, Byakuya, sitting cross-legged on the carpet, munching happily on the trail mix you had just bought.

You were rinsing a dish in the kitchen when you heard a strange cough.

At first you thought nothing.

Then another cough. Harder. Wet.

“Mom…?”

Something in his voice sliced clean through the air.

You turned and all the color drained from your body.

Byakuya was hunched forward, gripping his throat with both hands, chest expanding desperately as he tried to inhale. His little face was red, eyes wide with terror. He gasped again, sharp, wheezing, and a thin line of blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

The plate slipped from your hands and shattered on the floor.

“Senku!” your voice broke like glass. “Senku!”

He was already running.

One glance, one single look at your son, and Senku’s entire expression shifted. His pupils blown wide, breath catching, mind working in frantic calculations even as fear cracked straight through his ribs.

“(Y/N). Step aside.”

He didn’t yell it. He didn’t have to.

His voice was razor-focused in the way only Senku could manage when confronted with his own nightmare.

Byakuya coughed violently, more blood appearing.

You screamed.

Senku grabbed a towel, gently wiping the blood away as he ran his fingers along the boy’s jawline, checking swelling, checking airway, checking everything at once.

“Throat constriction… hives… respiratory collapse onset…” he muttered rapidly, then:

“Damn it, this is anaphylaxis. Severe.”

The world tilted.

You staggered back, hands trembling uncontrollably. “Anaphylaxis? But—he doesn’t— we didn’t know—”

“We didn’t,” Senku snapped sharply, voice tight with emotion he couldn’t afford to let through yet. “But right now, he’s crashing.”

Byakuya gagged, choking on his own saliva, and suddenly slumped sideways.

Senku caught him instantly.

“(Y/N), CALL AN AMBULANCE. NOW.”

You scrambled to your phone, fingers barely working, a scream tearing from your throat when Byakuya shuddered violently, and then went limp.

Blood pooled in his mouth again.

Senku swore under his breath and immediately rolled him onto his side.

Senku mumbled under his breath, running possible at home treatments he could think of. Hewhispered urgently, supporting his head. “Come on, little man.”

When you looked back, he was pressing his ear to Byakuya’s chest.

His eyes widened.

“His breathing is obstructed,shallow, no, no, no. Don’t do this, Byakuya. Not now. Not to me…”

Your heart shattered.

“Senku?”

He turned him gently onto his back, checking for a pulse... and his face went pale.

You’d seen Senku calm during emergencies, during difficult times, during injuries.

But this?

This was different.

This was Senku’s nightmare made real.

“(Y/N)… he’s not breathing.”

The words didn’t seem real.

He immediately positioned his hands over Byakuya’s tiny sternum.

“I’ve got him,” Senku said quickly, terrified, determined. “I’ve got him. Count compressions, thirty-two breaths, keep his airway open, come on, kiddo—”

He began chest compressions, voice strained with every push.

“One… two… three… breathe, damn it, breathe—”

You sobbed into your phone, screaming the address at the dispatcher, begging them to hurry.

Byakuya’s head rolled slightly with each compression, his tiny hands limp at his sides. His lips were turning purple.

Senku’s voice cracked.

“You still have to grow up and surpass me, remember?” A desperate laugh escaped him, pained, wet. “You promised that, you little brat. You don’t get to break that promise now.”

No response.

Your knees gave out.

“Senku, please… please save him!”

“I’m trying!” he snapped, not at you, but at the unbearable horror of your child not responding. “I am trying. I am not losing my son today.”

Chest compressions continued, unnervingly steady, but Senku’s voice trembled now.

Then a weak, tiny sputtering breath.

Followed by a cough.

Then another.

Byakuya jerked suddenly, gasping, air dragging painfully back into his lungs.

Senku exhaled so shakily it broke your heart anew.

“There you go, there you go,” Senku whispered, pulling him up against his chest, supporting him carefully. “Atta boy, breathe for me, steady, you’re okay.”

You crawled to them, sobbing uncontrollably, wrapping your arms around them both as sirens wailed in the distance.

Senku held you tightly to his side with one arm while keeping Byakuya upright with the other, whispering quietly into the boy’s hair.

“I’ve got you, I’ve got you, you’re safe.”

By the time paramedics rushed in, Byakuya was breathing, but barely, and Senku refused to let go until they forcibly guided him back to give them space.

“He stopped breathing for seventy seconds,” Senku said, voice flat but shaking beneath. “He needs epinephrine, airway monitoring, the whole protocol. Now.”

They worked quickly, confirming the signs, administering medication.

And soon Byakuya stabilized.

But you were still trembling violently.

Byakuya slept peacefully, tiny chest rising and falling with the steady rhythm that felt like the greatest sound in the world.

You and Senku sat beside the bed.

Your hand on your son’s.

His hand on yours.

Finally, the doctor spoke softly.

“He experienced a severe anaphylactic reaction. The epinephrine we administered and the CPR you gave him bought him crucial time.”

“We didn’t have Epi at home,” you whispered, voice still hoarse. “Senku, my husband… he… he had to do everything,”

The doctor nodded.

“Many parents don’t realize their child has a food allergy until a reaction like this. Based on the tests we ran today, your son is allergic to cashews. Strongly allergic.”

You sobbed quietly.

Senku’s thumb traced soothing circles on the back of your hand.

“We highly recommend having him undergo a full diagnostic allergy panel,” the doctor continued. “It’s possible he may have additional sensitivities.”

Your chest squeezed painfully.

“We also sent in a prescription for an epinephrine auto-injector to your pharmacy. Two, actually. One for home. One to carry.”

Senku nodded, eyes dark and serious. “We’ll keep them on us at all times.”

“Good,” the doctor said warmly. “You both did everything right. You saved his life.”

You broke.

Completely.

The doctor excused herself gently, letting the room fall silent.

Senku turned toward you.

You couldn’t look at him. You stared at your hands instead, stained with dried tears, tiny smears of your son’s blood.

“I’m a terrible mother.” Your voice splintered.

Senku’s head snapped up.

“Don’t,” he said sharply, and then softened his tone, moving to kneel in front of you. “Don’t you dare say that.”

“I-I gave him the food that almost killed him,” you whispered. “I didn’t recognize anything. I froze. You had to do everything. Senku, I was useless—”

He took both your hands, bringing them to his chest.

“You weren’t useless,” he said quietly, too quietly. “You were scared. And that’s normal. That’s human.”

You shook your head, tears falling again. “You saved him. If you hadn’t been there—”

“Then you would’ve called the ambulance sooner,” he interrupted gently. “You would’ve held him. You would’ve kept him conscious. You would’ve done exactly what he needed.”

You closed your eyes, voice breaking. “I was so scared…”

His forehead leaned against yours.

“I was too,” he whispered. “Terrified, (Y/N). When he stopped breathing—”

His voice cracked.

He swallowed hard.

“I felt like the floor disappeared under me.”

He brushed a trembling hand through your hair, tucking a strand gently behind your ear.

“But he’s alive because we fought for him together. Don’t take all the blame onto yourself. You don’t deserve it.”

You looked down at Byakuya, safe and sleeping.

Senku followed your gaze, then placed his hand lightly atop yours.

“He’s okay,” Senku murmured. “He’s okay. And from now on, we’ll have Epinephrine. We’ll have testing. We’ll know every allergy and every protocol.”

His voice softened to a whisper.

“You’re an incredible mother. And I couldn’t have done any of this without you beside me.”

You finally leaned into him.

And Senku wrapped an arm around you, holding you tightly as the fear finally loosened its grip.

With your son breathing softly nearby, the terror slowly gave way to relief.

And Senku’s quiet promise:

“We’re going home together. All three of us.”

PoV Senku:

I sat in my bed with a pounding headache. Well, if you could call it a bed, it was just a blanket and a pillow on the floor. God, my arms felt heavy and I felt sick. What the hell was wrong with me yesterday? And what the fuck was going on in the night?

When I looked around, I saw that I was in my house. Everything was quiet outside, my workers- uhm, I mean the rest of the villagers were still asleep. On the floor next to us, there were a few jugs on the floor and my clothes too. Holy Einstein, it looked like there was a huge tornado here. But what I found particularly strange was that there were other clothes lying next to my clothes. "What the…?"

At that exact moment, I felt someone snuggling up to my arm. I jumped briefly before looking down at (Y/N). She was lying naked next to me, with bite marks on her neck and shoulders and her hair all messy. She was sleeping soundly, breathing calmly and snuggled up in a second blanket. It didn't take long before I put two and two together and my face turned bright red. To be sure, I pulled the blanket off me and by Einstein, my guess was right! Damn-!

PoV (Y/N):

Senku had forced us to work again. Well, what does "forced" mean? We enjoyed working for him, but sometimes he seemed to feel too powerful. And today was no different. Due to an accident, we ran out of alcohol, and now we had to quickly make some ourselves. A few villagers had wished for a nice evening after all the success we'd achieved. The Science Kingdom was getting bigger and stronger, and soon we'd be able to really kick that Tsukasa's ass. But understandably, we all wanted a break, an evening of just having fun, and Senku took this request to heart. Maybe he wasn't such a bad person after all.

"(Y/N), you're staring again," I heard Kohaku whisper to me. My cheeks immediately turned bright red and I looked away from Senku. Kohaku had to see everything too… "Let me…" I muttered quietly to myself, which only made Kohaku smile. "Oh man, you really couldn't have picked anyone better, could you? Why Senku, what's so great about him?" Kohaku asked me. To be honest, I didn't really have an answer and if I did, I could probably talk for hours about how great Senku was. But I didn't want to do that. So I just shrugged my shoulders.

"Okay, that should be enough! Now we shake the liquid into a giant bucket!" we heard Senku shout loudly. Kohaku and I just nodded in agreement before each taking a container and shaking the entire liquid into a giant bucket. Before we could even ask what it was all for, Senku sent us away. We knew what alcohol was, but we'd never watched it being made. We just weren't interested. "I have to focus on this. If one thing goes wrong, all this work will have been for nothing!" Senku said. I just nodded at him and turned to leave. But behind me, I heard Kohaku talking to him. She was asking him what exactly his plan was, and I couldn't help but feel jealousy.

I knew Kohaku and Senku didn't want anything from each other, but I was still jealous. I was jealous of Kohaku for being able to talk to Senku so easily. I could only stand quietly next to Senku, listen to him, nod, or shake my head. It frustrated me, it frustrated me so much. But inside I hoped that tonight everything would be better.

After several days, we had prepared a huge table in the village, full of food and empty cups. We were all waiting for the alcohol we had been anticipating and preparing for days. While we had alcohol here too, we had never drunk the kind we had back then. "(Y/N), go help Senku carry the magic water!" Chrome called to me. Confused and a little nervous, I nodded to him before walking to the bridge. On the other side of the bridge, I saw Senku trying to lift the huge bucket. He was having a lot of trouble, you could see it.

So I went over to him, giggling. "Do you need help?" I asked him. My voice made him look up and hum quietly. A little sweat ran down his forehead. "Oh, (Y/N)… yes, that would be nice," he murmured quietly and knelt down again. With a nod, I went to the other side, knelt down as well and then we both lifted the bucket. Senku groaned briefly before we slowly walked over the bridge. "I wanted to thank you…" I suddenly blurted out. When Senku looked at me confused, I turned bright red again and looked away from him. "Thank you? For what?" he asked again. "N-n-well, for…! Y-you're treating us to this evening…" I murmured quietly. Senku just remained silent before nodding. "No problem," he finally said.

After we carried the bucket over, we placed it next to the table and opened it. I immediately saw the wonderful liquid; it was definitely a very dark color. "The alcohol isn't like the old-world kind… but we don't want to get too drunk," Senku explained. He loved explaining scientific things, even when no one was listening. "It'll definitely taste good," I said, as I took the first empty cups and filled them with alcohol. The first few people came over to take the cups from me and distribute them. But the children didn't get any.

Within moments, we were all drunk, which was hard to tell. Our cheeks were bright red, we were slurring our words, we were more honest, and we were also a bit clumsy. Chrome and Ginro were half-lying on the table, snoring loudly, while Kohaku and I were just discussing something. "You know… y-you should talk to Senku…" Kohaku suddenly suggested. I hiccupped loudly before looking at her uncertainly. Then I glanced briefly at Senku, who was also sipping alcohol, but he seemed relatively sober. "S-sure…?" I asked uncertainly. Even though I'd probably had several cups of alcohol by now, I still wasn't brave enough to confess my feelings to Senku.

"Just do it!" and with these words Kohaku pushed me towards Senku. Startled, I stumbled a little before I cleared my throat and walked towards Senku. My heart was pounding in my throat, but somehow I felt dizzy. As if everything around me didn't exist. As if there was only Senku and me. "S-senku…!" I then called, even though I wasn't even close to him. We were at least ten steps away from each other. But the scientist heard me and looked up. Our eye contact remained firm until I stood in front of him and took a deep breath. "I-I want to… w-get away from you…!" I then stuttered. Senku mumbled something to himself briefly before he stood up, cracked his neck briefly and then nodded. "Yes, okay…"

We walked over the bridge to his lab, which was also his house in a way. He had a hammock in his lab, but I could imagine that he hardly slept. Sometimes he had such big bags under his eyes that I thought he was going to drop dead. But Senku had himself really well under control. "So?" his voice pulled me out of my brief trance and I flinched. Then I slowly turned to him, he looked a little bored. But I could also see a slight red shimmer on his cheeks. Was he drunk too? "Hey. Senku." You eventually spoke. Your gaze never left Senku's hands as the tediously worked on his homemade rocket.

He hummed, not looking up from his work. The sun peaked through the window, a warm hue casting across the room. You sat a few feet in front of him in his bedroom, mainly just watching as he fiddled with his science experiments like always.

"What is love?"

This made him pause. He glanced up, one brow raised. "Illogical."

You scoffed, but your lips twitched upwards. "You know that's not what I meant."

He smirked. "Yeah, but you know I don't have time to think about that. It's inefficient. Waste precious brain power."

A sigh leaves your lips. You figured he'd answer that way. It was silent as he continued adding new parts, the soft clinking of metal being one of the few sounds.

It was a few minutes later, your chin rested on your knees, when he stopped. He sat down the screw driver in his grasp and tilted his head just enough to look at you. His red eyes studied you for a moment before he spoke.

"What do you think love is then?"

Your eyes widened at his words. You thought for a moment before you answered. "I think love can be a lot of things." You started, glancing out the window. "It can be the way snow falls and hugs earth."

"Ten billion percent sure that snow falls because of deposition." Senku picked his ear, face blank.

You ran a hand down your face in exasperation. "Yes, technically." You sigh, turning back toward him. "But people, a lot of people say love is something extremely special. Saved for friends, family, and pets."

Senku furrowed his brows slightly, but didn't interrupt.

"I think they're wrong. I think love is in almost everything. I don't think it's all that special." A smile set on your lips. "It's in the way tulips dig their roots into earth. In the way the sun sets, and you get that warm feeling deep in your chest. It's the way we walk to class everyday, ready to learn all of the worlds findings. It's in the way people put tons of sugar in their coffee, or none at all. It can be the smallest things, or the largest."

You turn toward him and smile. "It's in the way I still show up here everyday, even after all these years."

Senku's mouth parted open slightly, eyes wide. You could see the tips of his ears burning a bright pink. It was clear he didn't expect this, a miscalculation on his part maybe.

You tilt your head and laugh. "What do you think love is, Senku?"

His adams apple bobbed once before he smirked, running a hand through his hair. "I think you're an idiot. Tulips dig into the ground for support, and to survive. That's not love, that's gravitropism."

You bite back a smile. Senku is Senku, you figured his response would be something close to that.

"And how much sugar someone has in their coffee isn't love either." He let out a breath, glancing away to look back toward his homemade rocket. "But maybe me inviting you over everyday is." The last part came out soft, but you still heard it.

Your mouth parted slightly, eyes widened. Senku didn't look up again, but anyone could tell he was embarrassed. His hands worked quickly on his rocket, fingers trembling slightly.

Your eyes softened at his nervous gesture. "Well, I believe love is in a lot of things." You scooted a bit closer, Senku didn't react till your hand softly grabbed his. "And I love you."

Senku stiffened, hands hovering above his expiriment. His eyes flicked up. Your heart thumped loudly in your chest, fingers trembling right along with his.

He swallowed thickly and chuckled, but tightened his grip on your hand. "Ten billion percent illogical.”

You giggled and leaned a bit forward, just so he could hear your next softly spoken words. “Yeah? Is that so bad though?”

“Not one millimeter.”

Fun Facts: 1 ) Ryusui and the Reader met in a finance class together. The Reader was at risk of failing said class, as per usual, and ended up going to an extra credit session that Kohaku was taking as well where the two also hit it off! Luna and the Reader were assigned as roomates via random selections for their first semester and agreed to stay roommates for the rest of college 2 ) Ryusui is a business major (no surprise there). Kohaku is a general studies major who is leaning towards athletic coaching (i see you iwazumi fans). Luna is a theator major. The Reader is a forensics major with a minor is business because they hate themselves and actually kind of, really maybe sort of want to pursue youtube instead of just criminal investigation or something like that.
