i made a flag!! and i suppose i also coined a term and gender!!
itboy:
an itboy is a boy who is also an it. could be a boy who feels a bit non-human, a bit like an it, or someone boy aligned who uses it/its pronouns, or anything similar. it can be used as a gender, a descriptor, or anything you want.
feel free to use and rb this if you’d like!!
type shit
I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.
Itboy
Itboy is a term I’m coining for boys who use it/its pronouns or otherwise identifiy with the termage of “it”.
Above is the itboy flag with an itmale symbol! I’m pretty sure that I came up with the symbol myself, but if you’ve seen this elsewhere, tell me who to credit for this! Otherwise, I’m pretty sure this is my idea!
[Image ID 1: Itboy pride flag. The colors are as follows: Neon sea foam green, yellow, white, pink, white, purple, neon sea foam green. The top two and bottom two stripes are wider than the middle three stripes. The flag has an orange male symbol with a line going through the circular center overtop of it. /End ID]
This is a version of the same flag but with the regular male symbol!
[Image ID: Same flag as above but instead of itmale dymbol, it has an orange male symbol with on top of it. /End ID]
[Image ID: Itboy pride flag with no symbols overtop. /End ID]
Color Meanings -
Seafoam green: it/its pronouns
Yellow: Masculinity
White: Nonbinary and genderqueer men
Pink: Gender nonconformity
Purple: Androgyny
The orange used on the symbols represents man/boyhood. But the versions with symbols are optional!
My friend @atomic-cat-dragon turned my flag drafts into actual flags so thank you for that <3 :o)
EDIT: My term is inclusive of all people who are comfortable with the term boy and feel as if “it” emcompasses their gender identity. It/its pronouns are not required to use this term! But since I use those pronouns and identify with them heavily, they were a big inspiration in my creation of this term. Not required but important! That’s why they have their own stripes!
EDIT 2: Fixed some spelling/grammar errors!
