Ok. People are pointing out that Roman in the Asides episode questioned Olaf sacrificing himself didn’t work. Or how he was against Janus’ self care. (Witch may I remind you, he WANTED to go to the callback and Patton made him change his mind.) But what I would like to say is:

Roman is Thomas’ hopes and dreams. He just wants what’s best for Thomas’ goals. He wanted to accept Janus in SvS. He thought, “We accepted Virgil, so why not him?” And honestly, I don’t blame him. Patton was so pushy for Virgil’s acceptance.

Patton was against Janus. Then after the fact he turned around and switched sides.

I really think Roman was confused and hurt because he wanted the callback, and Patton told him no. But now Janus is here and everything is different. Janus was right. Janus knew what was best.

Roman keeps getting ignored and shut down. I don’t blame him for reacting how he did when Janus reveals his name. Roman acting out is how the others pay attention to him. Character!Thomas relies on Patton so much that everyone else is drowned out. (He literally SKIPS what Logan is saying) I get that Patton wasn’t in a good place. But as the sides seem to do, almost no one is looking at Romans side of the story.

Also I'd like to put this out there, if you like Janus/Patton feel free to be on this blog, but please please please block the tags "janus/patton negativity/hate" and "janus/patton critical" bc those are the tags I use most.

I am sorry to good Janus and Patton stans, I just have a lot of feelings.

hello!!! It's the "wow I want to punch Janus in the face" anon from a couple months ago. Just wanted to say that it's been half a year and my opinion hasn't changed. He is awful and gaslight-ey and terrible. I want to punch that scaly bitch in his dumb slit nose. Thank you for doing what you do!!

At first I was super excited cuz I didn't know who he was gonna be, then u found out it was Janus and all that excitement fucking drained.

I just... ughgghhhhh I've gotten to a point where I can't fucking stand Janus- I hate him. Those are strong words but God fucking damnit I just.... hhhhhhhhhhh >:(
