Day One

I feel like I have wrote those words over a million times, but I cannot decide if that’s a bad thing or not. Yes I have messed up more times then I can count, but at least I continue to try, or does that mean nothing. Should I not be starting over the count regardless of how many times I have messed up? I wonder all of the time why I allow myself to consider mess ups as big failures, wonder why I let myself give up for a period of time when I know I will continue to come back to this way of life. I know this is my passion, I know that its what I want, but I let things like stress get to me and screw up my lifestyle. Healthy habits, healthy eating, exercising, inspiring others its what makes me happy, its what makes me love myself. So today I have decided that this Day One will be different. This will be my last day one, the last time I let stress get to me, because this time I am using all of the above things as a way to conquer stress, a way to rise above the negativity I feel towards myself, and to rise above the negativity others bring. I won’t hide my struggle, I will share it with the world, so that others know its okay to write the words day one a thousand or even a million times because eventually you will write that final day one. That rewriting and reattempting the same thing a billion times doesn’t mean you are a failure, just that you are trying to get it right. The path to self love, to happiness, to success isn’t an easy one, it never has been. So write day one in a million different journals, repeat it hundreds of times until you find the day one that truly works for you.
