EATING OUT TIPS 🍝 + BLOATING 🤰🏽! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Over the last 2 1/2 years I've learned that what I do 80-90% of the time is what actually determines my progress and physique. One meal with friends won't make me +5 lbs heavier just like 1 salad won't make me -5 lbs lighter. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I also want to point out my lack of bloating. A lot of people post pictures of how bloated they get after a meal out. But learning what foods you can eat and enjoy without bloating, pain or discomfort is super important! My body tolerates bread, pasta, and dairy really well. How do I know this? I’ve removed all those things from my diet for 3 month periods and reintroduced then slowly without any issues. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Don't forget healthy foods 🍏 can make you bloat too! This is why there is no one best diet. What brings me success may be terrible for someone else. So skip the fad diets, or eating like your BFF and pick a way of eating that works for you long term! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Tips for eating out: 🔸I generally limit this to 2-3x a week and order what I want guilt-free! 🔸I remember to eat slowly, aim to be the last one done 🔸I avoid drinking my calories 🍷🍸 🔸I stick to foods that my body can tolerate to avoid bloating 🔸I keep portion sizes in mind. 🔸I aim to stop eating when i'm 80% full. You don’t have to finish everything just because it’s on your plate. 🔸I share appetizers/desserts 🔸I chew gum when I’m done keep eating ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Read the full post via the link in my bio ♥ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #justgetfiteatingout #bikinibody #ibs #bloating #bbg #21dayfix #bikiniseason #beforeandafter #foodintolerances #bbgprogress #fodmap #fodmapdiet #balanceddiet #balancednotclean (at Vancouver, British Columbia)
