Really, they should just stay out of her and her girlfriend's lives, and let them enjoy their delicate, blossoming happiness together.

I just realized the deadline for this is coming up sooner rather than later, so I hope you all appreciate being spammed with femslash content for the next few weeks. First up is Karaina filling the square "angel."

Summary: Kara had been left for dead by Grant Ward and is ready to embrace death until help comes in the form of what appears to Kara to be an angel

Kara groaned. The pain was almost unbearable. Why had she gotten involved with Grant Ward? It was a mistake in the biggest way. And now he had left her here, bleeding. Dying maybe.

She closed her eyes, hoping for a quick end. For a while she went in and out of consciousness, although she really had no way of knowing exactly how much time had passed.

A voice, or at least something that Kara was almost sure was a voice, was murmuring something to her, soothing her. She opened her eyes to see someone hovering over her, but she couldn’t focus on them. The sunlight was streaming in behind them, blinding Kara as the person ministered to her.

“I think I’ve got these wounds stabilized, but I’ll need to take you to Afterlife to get you healed properly.”

Kara blinked heavily. The pain was beginning to subside, and she was left with a prevailing feeling of exhaustion.

She stared at the person with her. They were practically glowing in the light. They were so beautiful.

“Are you an angel?” Kara asked.

The person laughed. “Far from it I’m afraid.”

“Well you sure seem like one to me.”

“You should sleep. You’re already beginning to slur your words.” The person paused and put their hand on Kara’s face. “You’re safe now. Rest easy.”

Sometimes, like today, she yields to the bewitchment for a while but manages to find a balance and wake Raina up early enough to not be scolded. She brings a fresh cup of tea to the bedside table and places their cat right next to Raina, sits down on the bed while she watches the elderly animal slowly start licking his owner’s face.
