I was gonna make a fic to go with this piece but it got corrupted with some of my files so here's a gist of it instead:

Steve and Tony as kids with their best friends Bucky and Bruce respectively. Rhodey is slightly older than Tony here(like a pre-teen or something) and so I just chose Bruce.

Concept: Corduroy, but instead of a little girl named Lisa it stars Kid!Nick Fury, and instead of Corduroy it’s teddy bear versions of all the Avengers, and his mom gets him one but they keep having to come back to get more so they’re not lonely all by themselves in the toy store, and SHIELD headquarters is his playroom and Maria is his best friend who sometimes comes over to play and help him direct missions, and Nick sleeps in a giant pile of teddy bears who love him and he loves them right back.

steve wanted to play royalty/king and knight, tony wanted to play superheroes - they compromised because tony pointed out iron man is basically a knight! so steve is a king and tony is his knight-slash superhero! 

tony made armor pieces from some cardboard and paints and tape mostly, steve found a cape in with the dress-up stuff.

Now that the kids have adopted Bucky as one of their own, they dote on him in their own little ways. Kamala will bring him a mug of hot cocoa when he looks lost in his own head. Peter will sort through bags of fan mail for letters and drawings that children have made for him and tape them on Bucky’s door so he has nice things to look at every day. The others gift him little trinkets, book recommendations, pictures of dogs they meet on the street, tasty snacks from all over the world etc.

They have an entire Dog Spotting group chat that is constantly filled with arguments about who is the best Dog Spotter. Peter takes the best photos from the strangest angles, but Bucky is stealthy and can sneak up on any animal easily. Peter thinks Bucky should win while Bucky thinks Peter should and everybody else is just voting for themselves. Lila keeps adding Rhodey to the chat and he keeps leaving because they post SO OFTEN.Bucky didn’t like the fanmail at first because ???? why do these children admire a killer! Stop please! Bad influences oh no! Like he could deal with people dressing up as him, but he feels like this is going too far. Peter gets high key annoyed with the steadily growing pile of mail and webs all the best letter and art and photos he can find to Bucky’s ceiling. Tony refuses to help Bucky take them down, so he’s forced to actually look at them. They’re really sweet. And oh no, so many people were hoping for replies! He can’t ignore them D: So he starts responding even if he doesn’t really get why people want to talk to him??? He doesn’t know how to respond of photos of people dressed as the Winter Soldier until Kamala teaches him about cosplay and gets Bucky to dress up as each of these kids favourite characters (besides himself, of course). Then people start sending him fanart of him dressed in a billion variations of his own costumes. Bucky is like ???? what do ???????? and honestly all of Tony’s sciencelings are Big Weebs who have been going to at least one convention a week, so they enlist a bunch of friends to make variations of the WS uniform. Bucky now has an instagram that is the most popular amongst all the Avengers. It becomes a game amongst the kids to find a gift that makes Bucky cry the most AND to deliver it without him seeing. The only rule is that they can’t use Tony as a distraction. So far none of them have actually managed to sneak up on him, but Harley did get a tiny robot to deliver a plush Bucky Bear stuffed with flavoured Kit Kats (he got Donnie to agree to keep them cold, the clever brat) onto Bucky’s bed before he noticed it.

I wanted to draw Kidvengers again so I redraw avengers age of ultron poster! :D

and yes this ‘AU’ is now called Kidvengers. (can I call it AU? idk) anyways they are basically kids that means they make their own thing using mostly cartons and paint. Wanda is there to hold their sign :3

oh yea and Vision is not there because he is the only adult, that means he needs to look after them.

Ah, and here’s Tony lookin nervous bc he’s in charge of looking after a flock of tiny half-powered avengers, including a baby who can float and also make you give her what she wants, reckless steve-o who thinks people are jungle gyms meant to be climbed on, and a tiny hulk, plus the three semi normal kids. okay, it’s not all bad, they’re good kids, it’s just a little daunting for one person.

(….I forgot T’challa how did I do that *facepalm* okay, maybe he and tony take care of the deaged avengers together since they’re the ones who didn’t get hit by the deaging beam or w/e? :3)
