Kuwesper Modern College AU Headcanons

Jesper:

Jesper wears eyeliner. He is never going out without putting that shit on

He also has amazing fashion taste and can definitely pull off neon colours

Surprisingly, he doesn't care for cologne; people will take a whiff, ask what he uses, and he just goes, "Heh. My musk." (Wylan cringed hearing this for the first time) (Jesper has really good body wash, he just likes to say weird shit)

This boy can't live without layers. Partly because Ketterdam is really fucking cold, but you still won't catch him wearing a "simple" outfit during summer

He is almost always shirtless at home since there's no one to impress. Wylan's a fan, but Kuwei isn't (he lets himself look, but that's about it. He doesn't like to cuddle with a shirtless Jesper) (It's a touch thing) (I'm totally projecting) (Originally thought of this as Wylan, but it could probably work both ways)

He was diagnosed with ADHD and finally started getting medicated in his second year

It's not that he didn't want to get medicated, he just kept forgetting to pick them up

He also forgets to take his meds; alarms and reminder apps don't work on him, so Kuwei and Wylan are now his personal reminders

He likes parties, but only to an extent. If he's at one for too long, he gets overwhelmed. One time, he had a complete verbal shutdown, but Wylan was fortunately there to help

He is a very messy person, and the only time he'll actually clean shit up is when he needs to focus

Wylan once came over to find a hyper-focused Jesper sitting by his desk. He swears that was one of the only times he's ever seen Jesper's room that clean

Procrastination final boss. He can cram half a semester's worth of work in under a week or two

Wylan:

He doesn't wear makeup. The first time Kuwei met him, he actually thought Wylan was wearing some (his rosy cheeks and freckles were captivating)

He has tried to put eyeliner on Jesper before, but accidentally poked him in the eye in the process

Kuwei once let him put on his eyeshadow, but Wylan gave up halfway because he got too shy (and also nervous, since he didn't want to poke someone in the eye again)

Picked on by Jesper for having a bland style; Wylan just doesn't see what's so important about dressing up every day, especially for school of all places. He puts on a hoodie and jeans and he's good to go, though he can put together a pretty good outfit when he feels like it

VERY glad that Jesper doesn't wear any cologne, as Wylan dislikes how strong they are

He doesn't wear perfume himself either, but he does have a liking for "powdery" smells

Loves oversized jackets or sweaters and usually steals them from Jesper's closet

Sometimes he borrows stuff from Kuwei, too. They're the same size, which is fortunate for the two of them (he also just loves to smell like his boyfriends. Shh)

Didn't know how to take care of or style his own hair until Jesper taught him. Before they dated, Wylan was more than delighted to use Jesper's recommended shampoo because then they'd both smell the same (his shame eventually dissipated after they officially got together)

Sometimes, when his hair gets in the way, he clips his bangs back; Jesper thinks it's the cutest thing ever

Kuwei likes to play with Wylan's hair, tying and untying it a lot when they're watching something together

He was diagnosed with Autism. He felt very bummed at first since he was already dyslexic, but he eventually came to embrace it. Wylan always suspected it anyway, and things do get easier with Jesper and Kuwei

Likes to drown noise out, so sometimes he'll use his headphones. To his dismay, they usually feel a little too clunky or heavy on his head, so he only really uses them when his senses are going haywire. Though, the headphones being tight and heavy can be very grounding

Finally got earphones and his entire world changed after that

Fidgets with his hands or whatever he's holding; he picks at his nails when he's nervous, and spins his pens between his fingers or clicks them repeatedly when thinking. Holding Jesper's and/or Kuwei's hands has a much better effect at calming him down

Gets spooned by Jesper, and he spoons Kuwei

Was very happy to realize he was taller than Kuwei and had the option to spoon him. The first time they cuddled, he took a very huffy Kuwei — who was complaining about how they barely had any height difference — into his arms

Jesper is his muse and he loves to draw him a lot

Realized that maybe he had feelings for Kuwei after subconsciously sketching him one day (he sketched Jesper beside Kuwei too)

Generally a clean person, and only gets messy when he's really into his projects

Fears the idea of turning things in late, and fears Jesper for not having this fear

Kuwei:

Loves to wear makeup, especially eye makeup. He somehow made the act of borrowing eyeliner from Jesper flirty

Obsessed with Wesper's freckles. He once tried to give himself faux freckles, but quickly scrubbed them off because he didn't think they suited him

PIERCINGS. He has a real, vertical eyebrow piercing, uses clip-ons for his nose and lips, and has a few on his ears too. He wants to get angel fangs or a tongue piercing but doesn't want to risk an infection

Rocked a mullet in his first year but cut it in his second year. Wylan and Jesper were in shambles, but couldn't say anything since they weren't dating him yet (they only got to express this after he joined their relationship, and he found it hilarious, joking that he'll keep his hair short forever)

Likes to cycle through styles a lot; he wore a lot of dark and warm colors during his first year, but now he's experimenting with pastels

The only one of the three who wears cologne. Fortunately for Wylan, Kuwei sticks to vanilla and powdery scents

Also, Kuwei's shampoo is Kundal (specifically Honey & Macadamia) (so you can imagine just how much Wesper loves sniffing Kuwei's hair)

A chronic reposter on literally everything

That annoying motherfucker who vague posts on Instagram notes, but only about Wesper

Yes, he reposts stuff in the hopes that Wesper will see it. Except, Jesper is too caught up in his own FYP to notice, and Wylan doesn't use social media at all

I will die on the hill that Kuwei is the most romantic person ever. He WILL write journal entries about Wesper over and over, he WILL make multiple playlists about them, he WILL draw them on any piece of paper he can find, and he WILL go all out for holidays and anniversaries

He has definitely had the most relationships compared to Wesper combined, but he's only ever felt true love with the two of them

Very used to being the emotional anchor in his past relationships, so he really appreciates it whenever Wesper takes charge (especially Wylan)

Teases and babies Wylan a lot, but gets outnumbered when Jesper is there because they both love to remind Kuwei that he's actually the baby

Hates morning kisses and only accepts them once Wesper have brushed their teeth

Obsessed with skincare. He likes to drag Wesper into his routine whenever he can. Wylan whines about it, but Jesper absolutely loves it

Diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. He offered to share some of his meds with Jesper while they were waiting for Jesper's prescription (NEVER DO THIS), and Wylan scolded the two of them for even considering it

Absolutely HATES parties but used to go to them anyway, though he stopped going as much because of Wesper (parties were his primary way of hooking up with people, but fortunately, he doesn't feel the need to do that anymore)

Once had a meltdown in public, and Jesper was quick to help him out (Wylan wasn't there when it happened, and this was during the time Kuwei and Jesper were still adjusting to dating each other. Even though it was a horrible moment for Kuwei, it served as a way for him and Jesper to connect even more)

He was another reason why Wylan started using earphones. Kuwei let him borrow his pair once, and Wylan couldn't admit how much more he preferred them over his heavy headphones

The cleanest of the three; at first, Wylan thought he was the only one keeping things tidy, and Jesper thought it was magic, but Kuwei just keeps quiet about it (since he's the one secretly cleaning up their mess)

Fine with deadlines and does pretty well in his courses, but he will completely crash and burn when he goes through an episode (after joining Wesper, they help him get through it all)

Been seeing ppl on Pinterest being weird about the concept of multishipping and non canon ships so here’s my thoughts on a bunch of non canon SOC ships (if you want my thoughts on one I haven’t mentioned just lmk and I’ll add on)

Polycrows: a classic. Love the dynamic of a bunch of traumatized people finding love (platonic and romantic) and comfort with each other

Ninej: my girlssss I love them. I fully believe they had crushes on each other at some point regardless of whether or not they vocalized/acted upon it

Kazper: as someone who has fallen in love with their close friends way too many times, I LOVE unrequited Kazper, but I really enjoy all iterations of them, both platonic and romantic. Their dynamic is just so interesting

Kuwylan: “polyamory could fix them” yeah I agree 100% but I think whatever’s going on with them currently is a thousand times funnier

Kaztthias: this is the ship I’ve seen ppl crashing out about which ??? I honestly don’t spend a ton of time thinking about them but I definitely see the appeal. Soc chapter 29?? Sooo much interesting stuff there idk that one just stands out to me for them

Wylan x Matthias: I don’t have a ton of rarepairs across my fandoms but this is definitely one of mine. I don’t even know if there’s really an official ship name for them? Idk I never see content abt them and I think it’s not a pairing that gets a lot of attention but they’re my 2 favs and I think their dynamic has a ton of potential both platonically and romantically. This is mostly just vibes but I love them

Those are the ones I think about the most but I love giving opinions if you want to ask about other ships! Anyway remember that fandom was built on non canon shipping and even though I love love love the canon ships it’s okay to have fun sometimes!!
