Well, looks like I'll be training from home for a bit. Challenge accepted! And if you have a few things, such as a #lacrosseball, a #foamroller, a #yogamat (optional) and a #resistanceband or two you also can train form home. No #barbells or #dumbbells required! Here's an idea for a #fullbody routine using just your body along with the bands for extra resistance: 1. #bandedgoodmornings: 3x20 2. #bandedpullaparts: 3x20 3: #bodyweightsquats: 3x20-failure 4. #bodyweightpushups:5x10 (wrap a band around your back when you need further #tension) 5. #bandedoverheadpress: 3x10 6. #planks: 30 seconds per section Do this every day, resting three minutes between sets and five minutes between exercises. Every week but down the rest time by thirty seconds. When targeting #kneepain, please understand that the source of the problem may not always be the knee itself. If you don't take care of the areas surrounding the knee, that alone could be the problem. Having said that, here's a technique I took from the book Becoming A Supple Leopard, called the Lacrosse Ball Gap and Smash: 1. Place a #lacrosseball behind your knee at the bend. 2. Curl the heel towards your butt, using both hands to pull your leg in. 3. Begin to move your foot in all directions. 4. Scoot you butt toward your heel to increase the pressure. And pressure you will feel but this will hurt the first few times you try it - especially at the top of the calf.
