Back again with another sketch of a LOK next gen/fankid! Meet Bao Beifong! I couldn't resist the urge to make a Beifong who takes after Toph in being super skilled and kinda OP lmao. She's good in the formal sense of bending training but she wants to expand her skills by trying out probending next. She's also Kallik's girlfriend :) Maybe she will get him to join a team with her...

20. ATLA Benders AU I am aware I went totally overboard with this, but I had so much fun!! I always loved ATLA and LOK so much, and to mix it with my own characters was a delight to work on <3 It was verrry satisfying to pull out my watercolors for the element effects after I was done with the pencil and eraser work >w<

PART 3: Alex Fierro as a lavabender

(I’ll use she/her pronouns for Alex in this post)

Unlike traditional earthbending, lavabending is more like firebending(quick, fierce moves) and waterbending(changing state, fluid). Alex fit this type of bending so well. Also, Alex is a potter in canon so that is another reason for her to be an earthbender, too.

I think while she is an earthbender, she could be descended from firebenders, preferably the Sun Warriors. Alex was told to be a descendant of the Aztecs(and their culture inspired the Sun Warriors in ATLA) and because firebending also deals with heat, it could make her lavabending stronger... (but I am fully aware that a lavabender doesn’t have to be of both earthbender/firebender descent.) This is why I included pink(usually wore by fire nation) and green(earth kingdom color) in her clothing. However, Alex’s pink & green clothes are very iconic so I would have included them, one way or another.

Plus just imagine Alex lavabending she would be able to kill everyone if she gets pissed off lmao
