Day 8 for #letsflyyogabirds yoga challenge is Benvajasana, Benubird Pose - I didn't even know this pose had an actual name!!! Day 6 for #letsflyyogabirds yoga challenge is Garudasana, Eagle Pose. This is one of those poses where you quickly realize if you are calm, steady, focused & balanced, or if your head is in the clouds & your body is wobbling all over the place! This pose helps me to see if I'm in my body, or in my head! Also, does anyone else feel like The Karate Kid as they come out of the pose, or is that just me? So the only way I could achieve a flying crow was to ground it a little with a headstand modification!
