Ok, let me explain.
I used to spend so much time stressing about my “summer body,” spending crazy amounts of time working out, eating like a rabbit, only to binge on anything and everything before bed and feel like total crap. 💩
Then, I’d feel guilty and wake up again to overexercise, restrict my food, and repeat.
This vicious cycle consumed me, especially when I was still in school. I always had a goal of going back to school and blowing everyone away with how much I changed.
I struggled with this for years, but the summertime was the worst. I thought I had to look a certain way, have a flat stomach, tiny legs…
But that became exhausting. It wasn’t sustainable. I wasn’t happy.
When my coach reached out to invite me to her fitness accountability group, I had no idea then, but she was giving me the greatest gift. She was saving my sanity and bringing back my happiness and zest for life.
I no longer worked out for hours at the gym only to restrict, overeat, and sit in guilt.
I learned the better way. I learned I COULD eat healthy AND have treats. I learned I COULD workout for 30 minutes a day from home and feel amazing and CONFIDENT.
Now, my summers and all my days are MINE again. 🙌🏼
