Litjoy had the entire comment section flooded with happy Elriel shippers that appreciated their post and were hyping it up and having a great time.

Then, three Elucien/Gwynriel shippers decided to harass the company in their comments and one did as well in a video because Elucien/Gwynriel weren’t included in their slideshow of SJM ships.

Litjoy then decided to cater to the three Elucien/Gwynriel shippers who harrassed them and remove the Elriel slide from their post instead of ignoring the gnats, deleting their comments or turning off all the comments in general.

That is disappointing but we have seen this happen countless times where companies, blog writers, magazine writers and even artists who draw Elriel have been bullied and harrassed by Eluciens/Gwynriels.

I’d also like to say that in Litjoy’s response as to why they deleted the Elriel slide, they said: “We hear your feedback regarding the slides shared earlier and have removed them. Our intention was never to insult or harm anyone in our community, and we’re sorry to those who were offended by the wording used. We appreciate the feedback and always want our space to feel welcoming and fun for book lovers.”

Yet they just completely made all of the Elriel’s who were giving their post engagement, commenting positivity and having fun feel unwelcome.

All for three Eluciens/Gwynriels who harrassed them.

btw getting offended because they joked that “you’re toxic” if your favorite couple is Tamlin x Feyre is INSANE. Their relationship was toxic, you know? It has nothing to do with whether you like Tamlin or not.

And honestly, pressuring them into removing the Azriel x Elain slide too, when the whole post was clearly meant to be ironic, is just… 😬 Knowing how toxic this fandom can be, they probably should’ve thought about making an Elucien slide too, mostly because a situation like this was honestly predictable. But it’s still surreal to me.

LitJoy TFOTA editions 💕

(I am in the process of taking photos of all the annotations but it'll take a few days as there's so many. At time of posting, I've got 100 photos of just the annotations in TCP.
