Nilibot ko ang palengke ng Gapan dahil naghahanap ako ng longganisang Cabanatuan. May nakita ko sa palengke pero yung mga nakasabit lang sa meat shop na longganisa. Tinanong ko kung gawa yun sa Cabanatuan pero ang sabi ay dun lang sa Gapan. Wala daw silang tindang longganisang Gapan.

Nahanap ko sa isang tindahan itong longganisang batutay. Ang main branch daw nila ay sa Cabanatuan kaya lahat ng tinda nila ay gawang Cabanatuan. Tinanong ko yung tindera kung ano ba ibig sabihin ng batutay.

Ang sabi niya na ang longganisang batutay ay hindi gawa sa karne ng baboy kundi sa karne ng baka.

Masarap siya, malasa at manamis namis ko na siya.

ELYU DAY 1

It is my first time going to La Union and I joined my officemates that weekend, March 17-19. Right after work (2:30PM) that Friday we went to the bus terminal for the 4:30PM trip. While waiting to depart the terminal, Joseph Morong from GMA News went inside the bus and interviewed two of my office mates. Another first I guess. Haha!

We arrived in La Union that night and checked in in a usual transient house. We were hungry that night and tried looking for a place to eat that late and luckily there's a nearby bar where there are available breakfast meals.

I was actually going to put local-longganisa-seller as it’s name and then just title it Unique Magic: Listen Up but then I got the idea of NRC-Broadcasting so yeah, I wasn’t able to sell any longganisa/j

Love how she looks nothing like the game sprite but it’s the thought that counts <3 This is Longganisa and she’s a khezu fanderg from Monster Hunter~

She’s a trapper and specializes in collecting critters and plants that are hard to come by - like them pigs that sniff out truffles. She’s got a great sense of smell but is blind and mute. She’s got a magic bond with her talking cat, Halo-Halo, whom she sometimes speaks/sees through. She’s very friendly and likes to listen to stories so she’s always hanging around the bar or market to catch convos. She’s never lived outside of Plague (ignoring her sprite’s ice element) so she especially likes to hear about life in other flights~

Filipino Longganisa or Longanisa

This is a sweet sausage. Usually served for breakfast with fried rice and egg. Today, I paired it with steam rice and pork and beans.

Our brunch (we don’t eat breakfast) meals at home usually include fried and oily processed meat along with pandesal or fried rice.

Recently, I started getting weary with the feeling of consuming excessive oil into my body. It became a habit to waste tissue just to dampen my fried food to remove the excess oils.

You can see in my photo above that I drew what type of food I want to see on my plate instead — less fatty oils, more vegetables, and fruits.
