It's perfectly valid to not want to be a parent, to never want children in one's personal life. But we should not hate children. Children are vulnerable, this world isn't kind to them, it's not their fault, and they deserve better.

People are always quick to defend healthcare workers who treat their patients poorly with the burnout excuse.

News flash: not all of them are burnt out.

Reality check: for those who are burnt out, it's not the patients' faults.

They at least have the option to quit their jobs. Patients don't have the option to quit healthcare. Those with insurance limitations on where they can go have even less of an option.

Are there awful people who treat healthcare workers like trash? Absolutely! And fuck those jerks!

But the rest of us sure as hell don't deserve their wrath for being sick.
