Personal opinion I like to read Cale straight shipping fanfiction because the characters actually exist in the canon,

I don't like to read straight ship with like cale x female ocs or reader x Cale

As long as they exist in the canon I wouldn't mind shipping them ꉂꉂ(ᵔᗜᵔ◍)

But I also don't mind reading straight crossovers too.
