Hi! May I request something platonic with TFA Starscream and a human reader? I don't have a preference on what the format is (headcanon, drabble, etc etc), so do whatever you'd like [:
: ̗̀➛ The way the you had met Starscream would become a running joke among the two of you later in life, after the fighting died down and the haughtiness of a con too full of himself found comfort in someone that saw passed the pretend boastfulness.
It was a normal day for you, walking from the cafe to your home. Take the alley here, go down this path, turn here. Your feet took you exactly as they always had, a well known path to you, a little scary sometimes, especially at night. However, you'd left the cafe early enough that the lowering sun didn't worry you too much, still plenty of light to get home, though it didn't leave much wiggle room.
And that's what you were trying to tell yourself when you heard the rumble of something hitting the ground, hard, in the forest to the side of your well beaten path. You needed to make it home, you didn't have time to go prancing through the forest to possibly get a glimpse of a comet that might have just crashed to the earth. But hell when would you ever get such an opportunity again? Never.
Your feet turned and you were pulling leaves and sticks out of your way before you could even rationalize why this was such a bad, bad, bad idea.
You feel like you're traveling through these trees for far longer than you actually are. Why is your heart racing? Why are you shaking? Why are your ears full of cotton? You don't know. You keep moving.
Finally, you push through what you think is a clearing, but you nearly fall into the chasm of a drag path that leads to a... Actually you have no idea what that is? Carefully, you slide into the chasm and walk carefully towards the mass of... metal? Yes, that was definitely metal. However, it didn't look like metal you recognized... Well, to be fair what metal were you familiar with anyway? You reach out and gently touch it, only to pull away with a hiss. It was hot, you think it must have given you at least a second degree burn just from the quick moment of contact, though maybe you are being dramatic. You look back up at it and, with a sound you will fervently deny ever making, scrabble back as quickly as you can as the metal begins to shift and... stand??
You watch as the metal comes to it's full height, towering over the trees around you, with a groan and a seethe of angry, intake creating a mist of fog as this metal seems to breathe out hot air into the cool day around you. Breathing? Metal? You've gone insane. That has to be it. You've eaten a mushroom on your way here that's made you hallucinate something so grandiose.
Finally, the metal being turns around and almost doesn't look down at you, only doing so as you shriek and move out of the way of it's foot. The sudden noise has it reeling back and tripping back on the cliff it's landing had created, falling flat on his own... ass? You mirror each other as you stare, wide-eyed, confused, and a little scared.
The fear leaves its face immediately upon laying eye on you, morphing into a look of disgust and unimpressed annoyance. It stands again and simply... walks past you, leaving you there, stunned.
You would deny how long you sat there later, but after 15 minutes you stand and scream yet again for it to stop. It whirls around on you with wild and slightly frantic eyes, locking in on you immediately in intense anger.
"Would you stop that incessant screaming! What do you plan to accomplish with it besides deafening my audio receptors?" He shrieks back at you, the ground seeming to rattle around you with the force of said screech. You seize the moment to catch up to him, he's already so far ahead of you. You stare up and him and he looks magnificently unimpressed with you even being alive. "What?"
"What in the fuck are you?" Undignified and it brings and immediate new found disgust to his face.
"I-" he leans down so that his giant face is mere feet from your own, creating a much more obvious and stark difference in how small you are to him, "am a Cybertronian seeker. A tactical genius. A mech who will crush all those who oppose him beneath his pede. And what, pray tell, the fuck are you?" He spits his words back at you like a curse.
He turns on one heel and begins to walk away from you, still unimpressed, still uninterested. And he swears it will stay that way forever, for the rest of his, and your times. He will deny he ever thought that years later when you are laying across his chassis as he reads a data pad and you draw in your own little journal. He will deny his rising affection as well and that he ever felt so totally disgusted by you. And he will further deny that you are his friend and more his family than he has felt comfortable allowing in eons.
