Here’s a showcase vid of my new ita book bag I made myself! I wanted something that was Umamusume themed, but the bags they had available weren’t something I wanted to carry on my person so I ended up making one based on one of the characters own bags!

I love it and I can’t wait to take it out and see how well it holds everything I decide to stuff it with 💕

heyyooooooo i got *some* sewing done to the main feathers. so now im onto cutting out the secondary feathers. and hopefully some body feathers today if i have time.

and man. its really looking like i killed a giant blue jay.

for those wondering what type of clothing its going to be. uhhhhhh sorry i don’t actually have a clue.

the original idea was to take an old hoody i liked and sew quilted feathers to it. but with the addition of jeans in the mix, its really starting to get heavy. and i need to add more feathers :/ so uhhhhhh if anyone has any suggestions for the attachments be my guest. cuz other than heavy duty fabric sew to the hoodie i got no idea

but the more ive worked on it the more i realize idk if i actually want the hoodie to be the base, just cuz i want and need something sturdier.

TLDR; the OG. idea was supposed to just be an oversized hoodie with wings a tail and a new hood, and now i have no clue if its going to be or not.

I have been distracting myself from the state of the world making an Urara weighted cuddle plushie for myself since the day she passed. I thought this would be a fun thing to work on and then everything else in the world has been happening since then.

So far I’m nearly done, just wanted to see how well I could attempt to make a plushie sewing most of it by machine(still having to do the rest by hand).

I’m pretty happy with the outcome so far, still got a few places to fix and adjust, but it’s coming along well.

Already got rice in one hoof, gonna do the others. And for her belly I’m planning to add a pouch so I can remove the rice and warm it in the microwave.

Anyway this is the pattern I drew up to work from on this

Even if I never met Haru Urara I’m glad I learned about her while she was still with us. She’s been a big motivation and inspiration for me lately.

Not sure why my brain gravitated toward her but I’m glad it did.

Still thinking about making a pair of minis to send to her trainer and matha farms.
