Either a bad guy has managed to get one or few of the Chain thrown into a jail or then the boys have done something foolish. Either way, Time is up for doing a prison break to get them out. He DID try talking and even paying the bail but nothing worked out. The rest help in getting the prison break done and the nine run and hide.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Notions:
- Stone Mask for Time to move through the prison and Legend’s Magic Cape to hide the one who’ll be fetched from the prison.
- Not sure if they’re needing to get the actual bad guy caught or possible other bad guys whom also ran off during the prison break. Maybe they just try to stay hidden while hoping for a new portal to open up and get them the hell away from there.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
During the prison break when Time’s fetching Wars as last (secluded off due to being a Knight Captain), one of the prisoners see through the Stone Mask’s magic and grab Time. Warriors attacks but Time ends up bit hurt (stabbed). They get out of there but the bad guy makes a deal with a guard and they chase after the Heroes.
The bad guy wants the mask and its magic for his evil deeds.
Even though in forest, the bad guys find them and Time leads the bad guys away from his boys. Luckily been healed by then.
Marvin has been showing Jamie some magic tricks, but notices that Jamie's able to perfectly replicate his tricks! In an attempt to see what he's up against, Marvin lets him try some tricks. But...when Jamie pulls a blue bird out of the hat instead, Marvin begins to have many questions.
A day late...Again. XD Hope you enjoy regardless!
Marvin was showing off his magic tricks to Jamie, who was watching them through a rather critical lens. Everytime Marvin would show him a magic trick, he would tell him exactly what he did to make the magic trick work. Even when Marvin showed him a complicated card trick, Jamie had only smiled and held out his hand to take the card deck. When the card deck was in his hands, Jamie did the exact same magic trick right back to Marvin! Like, perfectly replicated it!
Marvin chuckled somewhat awkwardly when Jamie visually explained what he had done with the cards. Marvin was originally confused and unsure what to think about Jamie’s perfect replication of his magic tricks. He wanted to get annoyed, but he also thought it would be interesting to have a magician partner alongside him.
Marvin smirked and decided to test out his knowledge. He pulled out a magician wand, and gave it to Jamie. “Show me what this thing can do.” Marvin told him.
Jamie smirked and gave the magic wand a whip, revealing the fake flowers that were inside the wand. Marvin nodded with a smile. Jamie removed the flowers from the wand, and gave them to Marvin with a smile. “Thank you.” Marvin replied, taking it.
Then, Jamie flipped it around and pulled on the white lid. The lid popped off to reveal the rainbow ribbon hidden inside the wand. Marvin raised his eyebrows, showing he was growing impressed.
Jamie then pulled on the clip that was supposed to hold the flowers, bringing the rainbow ribbon back into the wand through a spinning mechanism inside. Then, Jamie pushed the flowers back into the wand and put the white lid back on. ‘Voila.’ Jamie fingerspelled.
Marvin laughed as he took the wand back. “Not bad, Jamie.” He admitted. “But can you make things appear in the hat?” Marvin asked him, handing him the hat.
Jamie nodded his head and took the hat. He used the wand to draw circles, before touching the hat to ‘make the magic happen’. Then, Jamie reached into the hat and grabbed the animal out of the hat. It was a bunny rabbit! A beige bunny with lowered, floppy ears. Jamie smirked and signed the word ‘Voila’ again. Marvin clapped his hands and reached out for the bunny. “Okay, okay. I can take on some competition.” Marvin replied.
Jamie gave Marvin the bunny before grabbing the wand. He drew a couple circles with the magic wand before touching the hat again to make more magic happen. With the magic finished, Jamie reached into the hat and pulled out a bluebird! Marvin widened his eyes and smiled brightly. “Wait, why is it blue? I usually summon white birds.” Marvin admitted.
Jamie hummed and put the bluebird onto the table. Then, Jamie put up his index finger to tell Marvin to ‘give him a minute’. He reached into the hat and pulled out…a familiar white bird! Wait…How did-
“Wait…That’s my bird!” Marvin reacted, watching as the bird flew over to him. Marvin caught the bird and looked at the bluebird. “How did you make the bluebird appear?!” Marvin asked.
Jamie smirked and signed something while lip-syncing the word. ‘Magic~” Jamie replied.
“Bullshit. Tell me.” Marvin encouraged.
Jamie tightened his lips and shook his head. ‘Not telling.’ Jamie signed.
“Come on, dude.” Marvin reacted. “At least tell me where you bought the bluebird.” Marvin argued.
Jamie shook his head. ‘Secret.’ Jamie signed.
“I’ll make you tell me if you don’t.” Marvin warned.
Jamie raised an eyebrow. Was he seriously going to ‘punish him’ for not telling a fellow magician his methods? Wow…Low blow, Marvin. ‘Sorry. No can do.’ Jamie signed.
Marvin giggled and grabbed onto his black cape. He wrapped the one side of it around himself, spinning in a circle before disappearing in a puff of smoke. Jamie’s face changed from confident, to surprised in a matter of seconds. Oh shit…He can make himself disappear?!
Jamie looked around the room, trying to find Marvin. If he disappeared, he’s bound to reappear somewhere else…right? Jamie got up onto his feet and looked around a little more. The man should reappear in a moment or two. He has to. He can’t stay hidden forever. He had begun backing up slightly to look for Marvin from a little farther away.
*Squeeze*
GAH! WHAT WAS THAT?! Jamie curled into the right, feeling something squeezing his side. Jamie let go of his side, and tried to feel for something…anything! Anything that felt like the Magnificent Marvin.
*poke*
EEP! WHO’S THERE?! Jamie flipped around to find the source of the poke. But no such luck. He was supposedly, completely alone. But Jamie knew better than that. Marvin is playing him. It had to be Marvin!
Jamie gasped as he felt his sides get grabbed, and squeaked as he felt himself get lifted a couple feet into the air. OH NO! MARVIN LET GO! Jamie started moving himself around right away, struggling and wriggling to get out of his grip. But his wiggles and squirming would change somewhat as he felt squeezes and pokes further into his upper ribs.
Oh no! OH NOHO! LEHET ME GO! NAHA! Jamie’s head would fall back as his wheezy laughter filled the room. He could feel rapid squeezes and skitters on his upper ribs, but couldn’t see a hand, let alone a culprit. He squirmed and shook his head, a large wobbly smile filling his face as he wheezed helplessly. It actually felt like the invisible man was tickling him! But Jamie could already tell who this likely was. Marvin had pulled the ‘invisible’ trick on him before. But using it just to tickle him!? What a silly reason to disappear!
“Kitchy kitchy koo! Are you gonna tell me yet?” A voice, that sounded a lot like Marvin, had asked.
Jamie shook his head, refusing to admit his secret.
“Aww, that’s a shame. Looks like more tickles are in order!” Marvin declared to him.
Jamie gasped and wheezed again as he felt fingers tickling in his armpits. OH NAAAH! NOT THERE! NOT THERE! Jamie squeaked and lost his balance, falling backwards into the invisible man’s arms. But he yelped again as he felt the hands go away, causing him to fall onto the ground on his back.
Jamie quickly sat himself up to look around for Marvin. But he couldn’t find him anywhere. But he didn’t need to look around for long…because Jamie’s attention turned to the ticklish drilling into his hips. He bucked his hips in shock and threw his head back, kicking his feet as he yelped and squeaked amidst his wheezy laughter.
Gosh, why the hips!? Why would he go for the hips?! His hips are way too ticklish for this! Why must Marvin do this to him?! All this just because he’s following a rule every other person follows?! How is this fair?!
“I love your laugh, man…It’s so cheerful and silly.” Marvin admitted.
As much as he enjoyed being tickled to oblivion, he wasn’t enjoying not being able to see the person that was tickling him. So, he used his own conjuring magic to conjure up floating, gloved hands. With those made, Jamie snapped his fingers in the middle of his struggle.
“Ohoho, is that you trying to stop- WaaaAAH! What the- HEY?!” Marvin yelped.
The tickles had completely stopped, allowing Jamie the chance to recover. He calmed himself down and turned to look at Marvin. Using his hands, Marvin removed his cape hood, revealing Marvin’s head from inside an invisible cape hood. Jamie removed the rest of the cape, and unbuttoned it from Marvin, revealing the rest of his body.
Marvin grunted and pulled on the floating hands. “Let me go! No fair! Whose hands are these?! Explain yourself!” Marvin ordered pulling on the floating hands.
Jamie shrugged his shoulders in response, before wiggling his fingers at him to hint at his inevitable revenge. ‘Tickle tickle~’
Marvin widened his eyes in surprise, and began to grow nervous. “U-Uh…” He mumbled.
Jamie started on Marvin’s neck. He tickled up and down the sides of Marvin’s neck, making sure to tickle the back of his neck a few times too.
“eeeEEHEHEEK! Jahahamihihieeee nahahahaha!” Marvin giggled, twisting his head left and right. “Ihihihit tihihicklehehes!” Marvin told him.
Jamie gasped and cupped his own cheeks in false shock. Then, he made his head ‘explode’ with surprise, before going back to tickling Marvin’s neck.
Jamie giggled silently and dug 2 fingers each into his armpits. ‘Coochy coochy coo.’ He thought.
Marvin threw his head back and cackled helplessly, pulling on his arms and legs helplessly. “SOHOHORRY WOHOHON’T CUHUT IHIHIHIT?! SEHEHERIOUSLYHYHYHY?!” Marvin shouted.
Jamie smiled and shook his head in response, telling Marvin everything he needed to know: Jamie was gonna tickle him regardless of protest. It was really weird being held by unattached arms. Did Jamie’s body hold some sort of magic as well? Or was Jamie capable of more conjuring abilities than he lets on? MARVIN WANTS ANSWERS!!!
Jamie backed up, stopping his attack for a moment. He lifted up his hand and snapped his fingers, showing Marvin things were about to change.
Marvin’s giggles turned breathless and calm right as he watched the fingers snap. Uh oh…What’s about to happen? Is he gonna change the hands’ positions?! Or are more hands gonna show up?
In two moments, Marvin would get his answer. Two more hands would suddenly appear in front of him…one hand free to tickle with its fingers, and the other hand holding a bouquet of feathers.
No, not a feather duster. It was literally a bunch of real feathers, tied together into a ‘bouquet’ using an elastic. It looked terrifyingly ticklish, and it made Marvin lean his head back as skittish giggles left his mouth. “Ohoho gohohod plehehehease nooo.” Marvin giggled.
Jamie snapped his fingers again…and the hands flew up to him and started tickling him! The hand with the feathers moved to his belly to flutter them there, while the free hand went for Marvin’s armpit and upper ribs.
“Nohohoho! Gohohod dammihihihihit! Hahahahahehehee!” Marvin giggled helplessly. But things only grew worse the moment the feather bouquet fluttered into his belly button. “No! NO! NOT THE BEHEHEHELLYYY BUHUHUHAHAHAHA! NAHAHAHAHA! PLEHEHEHEASE NOHOHOHOHOHO! IHIHIT’S SOHOHO BAHAHAHAHAD! GAHAHAHAHAHA! EEEEHEHEHAHAHAHA!” Marvin cackled helplessly, wiggling as much as he was allowed to.
Jamie made an ‘oooooh!’ reaction with his face, showing amusement with this new discovery. Jamie snapped his fingers and made the second hand disappear, so it was just the one hand with the feathers tickling him silly.
Eventually though, Jamie knew he had to stop so he didn’t kill the man. He made all the floating hands disappear when he felt he got his point across: That Jamie doesn’t tell secrets about his magical abilities.
And newsflash for Marvin: tickling him while invisible, won’t make him reveal his secrets either. Jamie is just too stubborn to tell such secrets! Even if Marvin and Jamie have similar magical abilities, Jamie will refuse to tell anyone about how he got them…
Cape of Frenzy
Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement)
While wearing this cape, you can attack as a bonus action. If you make an attack this way, you leave yourself wide open for retaliation. All attacks made against you will have advantage until the start of your next turn.
In addition, when you are reduced to half your hit point maximum you enter a frenzied bloodlust and all your attacks are made with advantage. However, at the start of your turn, you must make a Wisdom saving throw DC=10+twice the number of rounds you have been in the frenzied state. If you succeed on the saving throw you can move and act normally. If you fail, you move toward the nearest target and make all attacks against them.
The only way to leave the frenzied state is to be healed above half your maximum hit points or to be knocked unconscious. When you leave the frenzied state, you receive one level of exhaustion.

Norsery Rhymes, Northern Mythology from A to Z
Bruni - (Disguised Odin), The Brown Cloaked, and Bushy Eyebrowed
Well here we are another Thor’s Day and another 20 min sketch of a Norse (and Germanic, sometimes Celtic) mythological characters. Sorry for the two week late’d-ness. This week it’s Bruni / Brunn. Odin in disguise. Odin’s name as “The Brown One”, or the “Brown Cloaked One”. Also know as “the one with the Bushy Eyebrows”.
This disguise, originally seen as an old cloaked soldier, then messenger, then chariot driver, would change in appearance as the need arose. It’s primary use was during the reign of Harald the Danish King, who fought with his two gold hilted swords and possibly a battle mace. When Harald was young and on his way to claim his throne of Denmark, his ship was beset by storms that offered no advance. Harald cried out praise for Odin, encouraging his ship mates. When an old soldier in a brown cloak appeared beside him on the deck. The new stranger cleared the storm and calmed the waters, letting them go steadily on to shore.
Harald after claiming his kingdom, prayed and offered sacrifices to Odin for one of his upcoming battles. Odin appeared before him again wearing the same face, and cloak but as an advisor this time. Odin gave Harald a magical helm and red cloak that would prevent him from being defeated in combat. Then either on a separate occasion with more prayer and sacrifice, or the same one, Odin comes and teaches Harald a special battle wedge formation that can pierce any shield wall. This however comes at a price. Harald must live up to his bravery, and dedicate the men slain in his battle to Odin to fill his armies in Valhalla for Ragnarok.
As time passes Harald battle become fewer and fewer, and decades of peace reign. Eventually Harald gives Sweden to his Nephew Sigurd Ring to rule as Harald’s Vassal. Eventually the peace is broken when invaders arrive in Denmark and having been chased off make their retreat to Sweden. Harald realizing that these must be Sigurd’s men sends his old friend Bruni to tell Sigurd to appear at Harald’s castle for trial on treason.
Bruni was however Odin in disguise under a brown hooded cloak, either because the real Bruni had been killed, or because Odin had been Bruni all along. Bruni appears in Sigurd’s court and stated Harald’s command. Sigurd claims he has always been a king, as paid no taxes, only giving yearly gifts, and that he will swear by Odin and fight for his kingdom. Bruni surprisingly states his approval of this, and as he is a know and welcome person in court, stays, being given food, and drink and gifts. Bruni/Odin in his turn offers up a tactic to Sigurd to use in battle.
Bruni delivers Sigurd’s message of war and the kings decide to let all their men and ships com in for a single glorious battle to determine who will be King. In some stories this takes an undisclosed amount of time, and in others it is several years.
Come time for battle the two armies meet. They fight for some time. With heroes rising and falling on both sides. Harald, who has a keen eye in his now elderly age, recognizes Sigurd using the battle wedge that Odin taught him. Including enough details to make him believe that Odin himself taught Sigurd this. As he did Harald a long time ago. While still riding through the battle Sigurd turns to Bruni who is driving Harald’s chariot, recognizing him as Odin. He pleads with him to help him in this battle. But Odin’s mind is made up. Harald had kept peace when Odin asked for War, and had made no prayers or sacrifices for some time. Not with the battle with the pirates, or for this battle now. While Sigurd had obviously made prayer and sacrifice to Odin for this battle, and was far more willing to provide soldier for Odin’s army for some time to come. Odin tiring of Harald’s pleading takes the war mace Harald had in the chariot and strikes him across the head. Harald falling to the ground. Odin finishes him with one, or both, of Harald’s own sword(s). Giving the battle and thus the kingdom to Sigurd Ring.
Some people consider this story as a sign of Odin’s fickleness. I honestly think it’s a tale about Odin’s consistency. Keep to your prayers and sacrifices, keep your promises to him, and you will live to a ripe old age, before someone new will replace you, or Odin claims you for Valhalla.
"No cape, you stay. STAY. I don't need you tonight, Im not wearing a- oh don't carry on like that! I promise we'll do magic tomorrow okay? Now stay. There's a good cape.."
Cowl of the Bear Chieftain
Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)
While wearing this cowl you can use your action to wild shape into a cave bear. This change is the same as a druid’s, you gain all the same benefits.
You can stay in this shape until you drop to zero hit points, but if you stay as a bear for 24 hours, the change becomes permanent and the cowl is lost.
