Sweet Meets the Family - Scribble (3/4)
Scribble: Archival note: comfort object accepted.
Threat assessment remains low. Sentimental value remains unexpectedly high.
I will preserve both.

Remember, kids stealing is wrong!...
That's probably what fipple is thinking
.

A bit of light heartedness, to distract from those things lurking outside....
Alright so it is done! It took me so long oh my god, I went through like five different versions and at least three episodes of "nope I'm not posting that" but here we are! Also I was in the mood for a moodboard (get it? Lol) so I guess that's a bonus. (I've moved the moodboard to the general masterlist post) I hope using a letter as a name placeholder isn't too awkward but I didn't know how else to work around that.
This started as a just plain beating whump but then I was like, you know what? I want me some comfort but not necessarily in the way you would expect.
"Whumpee didn't have a good week, and it takes a turn for even worse when a strange man entered their house, and for some reason seemed to be very angry at them"
cw: beating, blood, noncon touching,(non sexual), noncon drugging (mentioned not described), broken bones, swearing, female whump (just lightly mentioned, the main focus is on male whump), platonic caretaker and multiple Whumpees (technically speaking, I guess), also caretaker "turned" Whumper (? I'm not sure how to call it tbh) also food mention (at the very end)
masterlist
Sasha was livid, when he walked through the dark, wet driveway .
Vivianne and Cole haven't come back from the job on time, and when he came for them he found them motionless on the ground, clearly drugged with something.
Sasha stopped and took a deep breath seeing twins knocked out cold, made his blood boil.
He had to admit that, they weren't seriously hurt, but drugging?! Really? That was too far.
He felt guilty about leaving them alone, to be honest when he ordered his assistant to find out, who the fuck dared to do that, he didn't expect them to call back so fast. He'll have to give them a rise...
They also gave him some very interesting informations.
"Do you want me to send someone over there?" assistant asked.
"No. I'm going to take care of that myself."
Upon hearing his tone assistant decided that it's not worth it to risk asking any other questions, so they just nodded and hung up.
After that Sasha stayed in the apartment for a few more minutes waiting for the twins to fall asleep for good.
He was sure that if they woke up and didn't know what happened with the other, they would freak out, so he left them as they were - curled up next to each other. He covered them with blankets, and left. God they both were freezing, it'll be a miracle if they won't get sick after that...
He was now standing by the door, inspecting the lock, and recalling the information found by his assistant.
Turns out, that some fucking pathetic excuse of a criminal, working on their own, got in trouble with his "organization", so one of them dealt with him.
But it looked like, C - the friend of the first guy, some unimportant small criminal themself, and also the owner of the door that Sasha was standing in front of - got a problem with their best friend being "brutally murdered in their own home", or whatever.
And so the he decided to get his revenge, how noble of him...
Sasha couldn't give less fucks about the guy's reasons. The facts were, that the dipshit dared to go after his family, thinking he can lay a hand on them and not face any consequences... Well, he can't. He's going to pay dearly for that.
He entered quietly, and stood in the middle of the corridor, getting an good look on the person in the living room.
Whumpee was sitting on the floor their back leaning on the couch. A netflix show in the background and a variety of snacks around them.
"You're home early tonight." they said to the dark hall.
Sasha smiled to himself. Who would have thought that C had a partner? A partner that lived with them - and who didn't know anything about C's real job.
Unfortunately for Whumpee, C didn't hid their identity as good as he thought, as it took Sasha's people about half an hour to find out everything about those idiots.
Sasha glanced at them - Whumpee was at least a head smaller than him, around his sister's size, but unlike her, they looked like they couldn't throw a punch to save their life. That's not going to end well for them, but hey, they could only thank their husband for that.
Whumpee was now looking nervously around the room and Sasha decided to keep them waiting a little bit longer.
In the meanwhile he looked around the house, a console table standing by the wall caught his eye, hideous thing really...
But when he looked at it again he noticed a small ceramic tray in the shape of a round lily pad leaf - green with gold streaks, that's pretty, Viv would surely like it...
"Who - who are you?" Whumpee's call interrupted his train of thought.
They jumped to their feet, finally catching on to the fact that the person in their house wasn't their husband.
Sasha just smiled, and stepped out of the shadow, walking into the living room.
Before Whumpee could do as much as take a step back, or lift their hands to try and defend themselves, they were lifted off their feet, and thrown into the wall.
The dull thump that occurred after Whumpee's head collided with the hard surface, made them nauseous.
It took Whumpee a few seconds to fully comprehend the situation - there was a man in their house, an angry man who was much taller and stronger than them. Whumpee had no doubt that he could do anything he wanted, to them, and Whumpee hated violence, in all way shape or forms, they couldn't even play violent video games, it made them sick...
"please - i-i-i don't want any trouble... please take whatever you want, I won't call the police just...take the money and leave ... "
Whumpee pleaded, already trembling in fear. They belittled themselves for having that reaction, but they never were a brave person no matter how much they tried to work on that.
Sasha, scoffed at the mention of the police and glared at Whumpee, so naive and innocent... pitiful.
"Do you know C?" He snarled, and grabbed Whumpee's chin, squeezing it hard.
"My-my husband?" Whumpee whimpered, too scared to even think about lying.
Their heart felt like it was about to burst out from their chest, they desperately looked around trying to find some way to escape.
A punch in the face sent Whumpee flying across the floor, their elbow took most of the impact of the fall and exploded in pain, Whumpee's mouth filled with blood.
"I'll take that as a yes."
Sasha walked closer, watching in amusement as Whumpee desperately tried to get away form him, crawling on the floor. He took two long steps catching up to them, and kicked their side making them fall over.
"Let's get started then."
Whumpee's heart sank "Started?!"
But they didn't have time do do anything else as the man grabbed them by the collar of their hoodie and pulled them up to their feet. Grabbing a fistful of Whumpee's hair with his other hand, and snatching their head back to make them look at him.
Whumpee screamed, a desperate attempt of getting the neighbors attention, but their house was on the outskirts of the neighborhood with no other people in the hearing range.
"Looks like living in such a remote area wasn't the best idea, huh? Let me guess, your husband insisted on that?" Sasha mocked, pinning Whumpee to a wall.
"I-please what do you want from my husband? Who are you?"
Whumpee was confused, C worked as a researcher in a lab - they didn't talk a lot about his job, because the company they were working for wanted to keep the research secret to avoid the competition... at least that's what C had been telling Whumpee for years.
And Whumpee didn't have any idea who the man in their house was, but it was clear it wasn't his first time beating the shit out of someone. Where did C even knew him from? And what they could possibly do to piss him off so much?
"Looks like you two are going to have a lovely little talk when he gets home. I suggest you start it by asking C what's his real job. And..."
The man's tone changed from mocking to furious in the blink of an eye.
C what did you get yourself into? What did you got us into? Whumpee didn't notice that they started crying, until they felt hot tears steaming down their cheeks.
"... by telling them to not to mess with those better than him!" Sasha roared and backhanded Whumpee.
They cried out in pain when the fist meet their eye, and then their nose...oh, god this is a nightmare, this can't be happening this couldn't be real...Stop, stop, stop!
"Enough! Stop! Please stop!" Whumpee begged.
Sasha stopped and looked at the blood stains on his sleeve, disgusting. Not only did they just had the guts to try and order him around, but they've also ruined his shirt.
"Don't you fucking dare, to tell me what to do."
He threw Whumpee onto the floor, they landed on the coffee table breaking it in the process, a few shreds of glass dug into Whumpee's body, sharp pain making them scream again.
Whumpee was laying on their stomach panting, one of their eyes was swollen shut, only tears escaping through the narrow opening, their nose was clearly broken.
They coughed and pushed themselves up on their elbows but their body gave up, and they fell right back into the rapidly growing pool of blood on the floor. Laying there Whumpee could see the men's balck shoes moving across the room. He was circling them slowly, relaxed - a predator cornering their pray, knowing that it's not going to escape.
Finally, Sasha dug his foot under Whumpee's chest and made them roll over onto their back, with a sharp kick. The blood from their nose and mouth was now dripping down Whumpee's throat, making them choke.
Sasha placed his shoe under Whumpee's chin and tilted their head making them look up.
Then the man crouched down next to them, grabbing the front of Whumpee's shirt, and lifted them up.
Whumpee'd head was already lulling onto their shoulder, vision going dark.
"Not so fast."
A harsh slap brought Whumpee back to reality.
"Look at me! And better focus." The man snarled, the threat in his voice was obvious so Whumpee obeyed, trying hard to remain alert.
"Tell your motherfucking husband" Sasha said slowly, every word was crystal clear.
"That, if he as much as fucking breaths near my family again" He shouted slamming the side of Whumpee's head to the floor.
"I'll come back here, and you can be sure, that I won't be so nice anymore - I'm going to make X watch, as I tear you apart, piece by piece. And then deal with him. Understood?"
Whumpee didn't answer, they've curled up into a ball, with only a small whimper escaping their mouth.
The man growled and kicked them in the stomach. Hard.
"I'm asking if it is understood?!"
Whumpee was writhing in pain, trying to shield their now broken ribs. But something told them that the man wouldn't stop until he got the answer.
"...u-under...stood" Whumpee whezzed out, the sound was barely audible.
Sasha propped up one foot on Whumpee's side and slowly started pressing down.
"Understood "SIR", show some damn respect" He spat.
"...un-un...understood...s..s-sir" at this point Whumpee wasn't sure how they've managed to make a sound that wasn't a groan of pain.
The man smiled "Good."
With one swift movement he pressed his foot down with a full force, stepping on Whumpee's cracked ribs.
Then Sasha turned around and without sparing Whumpee a second glance, walked to the car, grabbing the green tray from on his way out.
Hmm... on the second thought, he could have waited for the twins. Cole would have a field day with this one. Well nothing's lost, he's sure they would love to thank C personally.
.....
Cole woke up, and tried to get himself off the ground, only to discover that he wasn't on the ground anymore.
He was home, in one of the three bedrooms, to be exact...alright, that's something. Even though he couldn't remember how he got there.
He tried to sit up, but the sharp pain in his nose made him lay back. There was also a slight stinging in the side of his neck. He rubbed it and groaned in frustration.
Great, just fucking wonderful. Drugged like a complete looser.
Cole closed his eyes, trying to recall the events of the evening - a few short memories, flooded his mind: Some very angry guy, a syngerine, sharp pain, dizziness, Vi grabbing his arm-...
Vivianne! Fuck. She was there too...where is she?!
He sat up, way too fast the spots started dancing in his vision. Ignoring them and the wave of nausea, he started to look around frantically.
Vi was sleeping on the other end of the bed. She was facing him, curled up on her side. There was a cut on her lip, and her wrist was bandaged - white material covered a part of her tattoo... but it didn't look like she had any other injuries.
Relieved Cole propped himself on the pillows.
"Viv?" he brushed away the hair from her face, and looked at her neck - as expected there was a tiny needle mark on it.
He thought it would take a while, but Vi woke up instantly - hand instinctively going to her side to grab a knife, but she froze, when she recognized who was talking to her, and where she was.
"That was a fucking dick move." She muttered sitting on her heels and moving her wrist back and forth a few times.
"Didn't we technically start it, by killing this guy assistant? Or whowever the hell? At least I think that's what he has been yelling about..."
Cole tried to sit up himself but after a few unsuccessful tries, he gave up.
"His friend I think... Still. Drugging? Bullshit" Viv winced and scratched her neck.
"You alright?" He asked. She looked more annoyed than hurt but who knows what was in that stuff.
"I guess"
Vivianne moved closer to him, and tilted his face, to take a better look at his nose, brushing her fingers against it, careful not to apply any pressure, still it hurt.
"You?"
She frowned when he hissed.
"Been better"
"I'm going to rip his head off. The fucking nerve. He wants to cross the line? Fine, I'll show him what happens when I cross the line."
Cole gently pulled her hand away from his face, inspecting the bandage, that already had small spots of blood staining it.
He sighed, it's not like he didn't agree with her - the asshole didn't want to play fair? Sure, let's see how he'll like it when they stop playing fair... just not tonight.
For now, they should probably focus on finding out how they got home. Well, there was one obvious answer that came to mind...
Vi must have thought the same, as she looked in the direction of the door, and tightly wrapped her arms around herself.
They waited for a minute or two, expecting their older brother to walk into the room any second, but he must had left at some point as nothing have happened.
"Sasha?" Cole called out, just to make sure. No answer.
"We need to get him into a habit of leaving a note, when he disappears in the middle of the night" He said closing his eyes.
"Or texting, like a normal person" Vi added stretching out her legs resting her forehead on his shoulder.
"... my head is killing me"
Cole realized that there was a dull pounding somewhere in the back of his head as well.
"I know" He replied, rubbing her arm and leaning his cheek on the top of her head, waiting for Sasha to come back and scold them for being stupid enough to get tricked like that.
....
"It's just me"
Sasha announced as he entered the apartment, he was sure that they've started to get up, when they heard the door unlocking.
Neither of them answered so he just walked into the room.
And he wasn't wrong. Cole was sitting with his legs already on the floor, but he was tense, jaw clenched, clearly in pain.
Vi was on the other edge of the bed, her back was straight legs tucked underneath her, but he noticed she was supporting herself with one hand.
"Lie, back down" Sasha ordered, instead of a greeting, and walked over to them.
He lightly pushed his brother onto the pillows and scooped his legs, placing them back on the bed and tucking the blanket around them. Surprisingly Cole didn't protest.
Sasha poured the two glasses of water from the bottle on the bedside table. Vi and Cole were watching him the whole time, but neither said anything.
Thinking about it, they were awfully quiet.
"What?" He asked sitting down on the edge of the bed.
"What "what" ?" Viv asked back, she was fidgeting with her fingers.
"You haven't said anything for at least two minutes, that must be your new record."
"We're waiting for you to tell us off" Cole responded.
Sasha sighed and without a word leaned over and hugged him. After a few seconds he pulled back and handed him one of the glasses. Then he walked over to the other side of the bed.
Vi still looked nervous but she wrapped her arms around him as soon as he sat down. He hugged her back.
"I got you something"
Sasha placed small tray on her lap, then he handed her a glass and moved over, leaning on the bed frame.
He crossed his arms watching as they quietly drank the water.
"Where did you get th-?" Vivianne looked over at him, playing with the tray, but she stopped when she noticed his bruised knuckles and blood on his sleeve.
Vi and Cole quickly glanced at each other, and then focused on Sasha again.
"I explained to the asshole that he made a big fucking mistake." Sasha said, even though it was obvious, that they've already guessed what happened.
Vi leaned forward and hugged him again, at the same time Sasha felt his brother squeezing his arm.
"Thanks" Cole just said.
He almost flinched when they touched him, they both were still cold. Definitely way too cold for his liking.
"Anytime" Sasha smiled back at him, and kissed the top of the girl's head.
"I'll wash my hands and make you some tea, you're still freezing."
They nodded.
"Do you think you'll manage to eat something?"
Another nod.
"We have some ramen left I can heat that? Or make you something else? And answer with words, you're worrying me, when you're both so quiet"
"Ramen's fine"

Gusion let out a groan of pain as they pushed themselves off from the ground, the soft beating of wings had awoken them. Glancing up, they watched as their two familiars flew in place above them, looking down at their handler. Pushing themselves up, they couldn’t help but cringe at the sight of cobwebs as they finally stood.
“ Well... “ They finally spoke, “ This isn’t ideal.. “ They muttered. Hugging their arms they anxiously glanced between the two doors that stood before them.
It felt like hours as they stared between the two doors, their familiars flapping their wings impatiently. Already bored from waiting for their handler to awake finally, Gusion spoke once more “ Where am I? “
Museums - Cemeteries Of Gods
Here they are, oh how low have they fallen. They used to look down on us mortals from their golden thrones up in the sky. They were our fate and we couldn’t live without them, we couldn’t die without them, and in a desperate attempt of begging this stone-cold life circle for mercy, we started worshipping them. Little did we know the power it gave us.
These Beings, old as the universe itself, could be contained, so we did. We contained them in paintings, prayers, and sculptures. For the first centuries of our existence these sculptures, would look down on us, basking in their glory in all gold templates. But the time, the one true and all powerful force that exists isn’t merciful either for us or gods. And so they were forgotten, slowly buried in sand, dirt, and blood. Just like that they spent their days forgotten, invisible to the world, not expecting what became of it.
But there came the times and people, who arrived into the lands that weren’t theirs or their ancestors, to the lands they had no claims to. And they found them, shoving off the centuries worth of history. Amazed by the beauty of the craft, or the history they were bearing; either way, completely blind to what was inside them.
And what was it? Well, as we all know, the only way to kill a god is to forget it. And this of course takes time, lots of time. And they were there in their tombs, almost dead, but not quite. A few years more, a few more wars, few more religions, maybe, and they could pass away, dissolve into nothing and once again be the part of the universe. But that’s not what happened, as you know. Their peace was disturbed and, now there’s no going back for them.
And here I am, walking among them. These beautiful sculptures - their earth form, and their prison. Aligned into never ending displays, in this city that is also old as time itself. And beautiful, so beautiful. Unexpectedly, this beauty is the doom of gods. Thousands of people every day, walking past them, seeing them - meaning they can’t die anymore. They once more exist in the minds of people. But we’re not worshipping them anymore. Webrush past them, acknowledging the beauty of the craft, but not them. They can’t be alive either.
And so this is the story of how we, the humankind, have the power to be the doom of gods. It reaches through history. It was the work of all generations. And like them in the beginning, we are not merciful either. We won’t let them slip into soft nothingness of death, no. We have sentenced them to the cruelest thing both gods and people can imagine - into existence without meaning.
The soft pitter patter of feet in the dark echoed and bounced off the walls of the school house. Mono had gotten lost while going back to get something. Six was left to watch over for anything or anyone looking for them. She found herself alone. She was angry to say the least, but she was more so worried he had gotten hurt or caught.
Six was one for not trusting others often. It was hard to trust someone in a world full of betrayal and pain. But, Mono had proven himself with his kindness. Saving her time and time again. She and him had grown closer than any other creature they had seen or known. Six could feel that oh so familiar pit in her stomach. She could hear the voice of her anxious conscious taunting her with countless harmful words.
He left you.
You shouldn’t have trusted him.
You’re better off on your own.
Despite the words being in her voice, she ignored every little syllable. She didn’t want to second guess herself. They were in this together, they had been through too much together to just give up on one another. She had to keep going, she had to find him. She couldn’t give up, she had already come so far and she wasn’t going to leave this kind boy to the hands of a cruel and cold world.
Everything she was doing, it felt unnatural. Like she was going down a different path than before. Like a repeating dream. Six skidded to a halt, her feet surely catching a few splinters in her callused feet. She stopped by a familiar locker. She did go here. Before the signal tower, when everything was normal, when everything was better. She gripped the door’s edge to the locker. She slid her hand down the side and stared off into it like a never ending abyss. Except it did end, inside that ending was a bookbag of her size. Back when children were considered normal size and the adults weren’t monsters in height and mind.
A deep green bag that had a silver button on it. The gold paint scratched off from years of use. Six sat on her knees, taking in the more relaxing memories. She cautiously reached out and placed her hand on the tough but soft fabric. She smiled lightly and lowered into the side pockets. She dug inside and felt the familiar cold metal. The smile that had formed from the fond memories grew a tad more. She pulled out the tiny lighter.
“Maybe,” She thought, “Maybe, this could ward off those mannequin kid things.”
Six stood up and flicked the lighter, it sparked and a flame formed. She enjoyed the heat as she admired her old zippo. She turned as she heard tapping. She felt her heart rate rise at an alarming rate as she turned to the opposite direction of the sound, starting down the hallway with haste. She tried her best to keep her breathing quiet. She slid under a broken door way and closed her lighter, smothering the flame and effectively putting it out, killing the light it provided. She bit her lip and stepped back, crouched low as she did her best to stay out of view and light. So she could avoid being seen.
She felt herself meet the wall as she listened. Pausing, she heard the ticking stop. Looking up, she could see a faint silhouette. Her eyes widened as she saw the reflective surface of what seemed to be eyes.
A soft light of pink and blue sparked a-light in the dark. The large creatures head lowered down at Six’s height. She felt herself panicking. Despite the creatures towering size, she had a gentle smile and half lidded, relaxed eyes. Six had curled up from the hiding, hugging her legs like many times before as she stared at the creature. She studied its features, it looked like some sort of horse. Cloven hooves and fetlocks. A long cat like tail with a large tuft of hair on the end, bandages covering parts of the tail, a piece of it hanging loosely and stained with dirt from dragging on the floor. It had long hair to match the deep royal color that faded into black, Tied off with the same bandages in the middle. It’s eyes were blue and pink gradience, almost a relaxing sky color if one were to stare into them for too long. It’s laid back pointed ears shared similar tufts of purple, pink and black like it’s hooves. A soft pink shade was dusted over the bridge of it’s snout and under its eyes, which had thick eyelashes that seemed unnatural. It was covered in symmetrical spotting of black similar to that of it’s hair. A long horn and a pair of large wings gave a mystical vibe. The light came from the tip of the horn that had indentions of a swirl.
Six relaxed a bit but felt herself jolt as it’s left wing opened lightly, wrapping around her lightly. As the wing moved around her, she could see that the body was that of a female in anatomy. Six jumped again as the door slammed open. A flash of light blinded her. As her eyes opened and her vision cleared, she could see they were in a different room. Six looked up and saw the creature holding her under her wing. She felt herself relax for some reason, the aura of it sending her into a sleepy haze nearly. She would have fallen asleep had it not been for her paranoia that it would scoop her up and put her through hell with out second thought.
“Shh...” The creature whispered. She raised her wing, revealing a limp and steadily breathing Mono on the floor not far from her. Six felt the aura of comfort wash over, seeing he was safe. Not a bruise or scratch in sight on his skin nor clothing.
“You’re safe.” They whispered. Six crawled towards Mono and laid by his side. She cared about him and herself only at this moment. Her eyes fell closed as she laid close to him. Knowing he was safe give her some confidence that she would be safe here with what ever saved her. Slowly, she fell to slumber. After so long, she finally could feel the comfort of a good night’s rest.
