Guy Eli Hamdon from SheZow is intersex-coded and bigender using he/she pronouns, and his variation is Mild Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (MAIS)!
The requester elaborates: " There's a couple episodes in it that focus around hormonal imbalances that affect how Guy is able to transform in and out of being Shezow, as well as there being one episode where they travel back in time through his family tree and one of his relatives is a bearded lady (which is often seen as an intersex trait specifically for things such as PCOS or NCAH), so it's likely that intersex variations are common in his family! "

GenCon is fast approaching and I am vibrating with excitement for the chance to drop the most complete and refined version of Magic Assholes (to date) on people in a couple weeks.
Along with preparing a new one-shot adventure and improving on another that I ran at GenCon several years ago, I've overhauled the character sheet and managed to squeeze almost all of the rules and character creation info into a double-sided quick ref sheet, so I can on-board a three 6-person tables as quickly as possible during the con.
Squeezing this much information into 2 sheets was not easy. Fortunately, I've been getting some practice making things like this from running a monthly RPG Club for my library. These short rules summaries have been helpful for teaching new systems, but I also find that going through a RPG book with the intent to write and condense as many of the rules as you think you need to play onto as few sheets as possible, really helps you cement most of that ruleset in my head. I recommend trying it.
Even though I wasn't aiming to every rule on one sheet, I did manage to get all of the most important stuff on there. I can, and will, say a lot more about all of these rules, but this is practically the whole game. You could take the character sheet and the overview pages, grab some decks of cards, and make a whole crew of characters then start playing today, if you wanted. You might need some ideas for how to handle ships and NPCs, but this is the most important stuff.
Full text after the break if you want to read in non-image format.
Any feedback or comments or questions are welcome. And if you do try running this game for your friends, TELL ME! I wanna hear about your space adventures.
Intersex userboxes pt. 2!!! (Full pack)
Me and two mutuals of mine transformed our collective headcanon of one character from "the character has a small penis" to "the character is intersex and has a small penisola because of their variation" and we are having so much fun with it. We also acknowledged the headcanon as intersex because the character has a quite larger than usual chest and I ended up researching an intersex variation that fit this two variables and we ended up headcanoning the character as a Mild AIS variation! (Going to write fanfiction about him *taptaptaptap*
Wait is this a canon event or smt (me and my friend were just headcanoning an anime character as being on the AIS spectrum with ambiguous genitalia.....) this is so real of you guys (PLEASE if you are comfortable send me the link when ur done I love intersex fics that aren't just porn slurs and trauma slop)
androgen insensitivity syndrome flag
[pt: androgen insensitivity syndrome flag]
androgen insensitivity syndrome is a recessive genetic variation that leads to people with XY chromosomes* not responding to androgens to varying degrees. the main categories are mild androgen insensitivity syndrome, partial androgen insensitivity syndrome, and completely androgen insensitivity syndrome, but sub-categories have been proposed to describe those who fall inbetween broader categories. the presentation of AIS depends on how little or how much the persons body is able to respond to androgens.
*AIS can also appear in someone with other chromosomal makeups, such as XXY, XO/XY, etc. and this has been documented in literature.
*AIS is able to appear in people with XX chromosomes, but it is not very well documented.
moss agate was chosen as an inspiration due to it being used to represent balance and growth. cyan was chosen for diversity due to the broad range of ways AIS can present. light green was chosen for serenity. dark green was chosen for connection and growth.
