Think you could do luz trying to teach y/n how she does magic so he can also do magic with her but he keeps getting distracted by how beautiful she looks
Don't attack me in the comments about making a Luz x Male Reader story
[The late afternoon sun filtered through the windows of the abandoned classroom in the old house, bathing everything in warm gold. Sheets of paper covered the floor, each one scribbled with glowing glyph circles.]
[The Owl House's Luz Noceda sat cross-legged on the floor with a pencil tucked behind her ear, grinning excitedly while she held up another piece of paper.]
Luz: Okay, okay, this one is the light glyph. You just gotta focus on the shape and the intention behind it. Magic is all about connection!
[Across from her, Y/N stared silently. Not at the glyph. At her. Luz’s dark hair was messy from how many times she’d run her fingers through it. A tiny smudge of ink sat on her cheek. Her eyes practically glowed whenever she talked about magic, hands moving wildly as she rambled faster and faster. And somehow that was the problem.]
Luz: Y/N? You’re staring again.
Y/N: I’m listening.
Luz: You’ve been holding the paper upside down for like… two minutes.
[Y/N looked down and sure enough, the glyph was upside down.]
Y/N:…I knew that.
[Luz snorted. She scooted closer to him, shoulder bumping against his. Immediately his brain stopped functioning. “Look,” she said softly, taking his hand and guiding the pencil.]
Luz: Start with the outer circle first.
[Y/N tried. Really tried. But then Luz leaned in even closer to see what he was drawing, and suddenly all he could think about was how pretty she smelled and how her eyelashes looked in the sunlight. The pencil snapped clean in half in his grip.]
Luz:…Was that the magic?
Y/N: No.
Luz: Was it stress?
Y/N: Yes.
[She stared at him for a second before a grin slowly spread across her face.]
Luz: Oh my Titan.
Y/N: Don’t start.
[Y/N muttered, his face completely red.]
Luz: I’m trying to teach you magic and you’re over here getting defeated by eye contact.
Y/N: You smell nice.
[The words left his mouth before he could stop them. Luz froze completely. Then Luz’s entire face turned bright red. “…Oh.” she said, For once, the usually nonstop girl had absolutely nothing to say. She awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck, trying not to smile too hard.]
Luz: Well… you smell nice too.
[Y/N looked like he wanted the floor to swallow him whole. Luz laughed softly before nudging him again with her shoulder. She placed another glyph paper in front of him.]
Luz: Try again.
[Y/N exhaled slowly, forcing himself to look at the symbol instead of her. Outer circle. Inner lines. He pressed his hand against the completed glyph—and suddenly the paper glowed bright gold. A sphere of warm light burst into existence above his palm. Then Luz exploded with excitement.]
Luz: YOU DID IT!
[Before he could react, she launched herself at him in a hug, nearly knocking him backward.]
Luz: You made magic! Oh my gosh, this is amazing!
[Y/N looked down at the glowing light in one hand… then at Luz clinging happily to him.]
Y/N:…Worth the suffering.”
