Shouto was sitting at a table outside a cafe, his left side to the crowd. He sipped at a drink without much worry. If you looked closely, you would see that his left eye was paper then the other. Blank.

It would be easy to come up to him without him noticing. He didn't even seem to worry about that.

         "Coffee or tea?"

Jack questions, holding up a tin of tea and a pack of coffee. As his eyes dart over to her from where he was standing in the kitchen. In a better mood today, and his head was not killing him so he thought he could enjoy a hot beverage and some company before he started in on making videos.

“Alright Mari, it’s game night. You know what that means?” Tommy asked with a scheming glint in his eye. And then in an instant his expression changed, promising vengeance instead of fun. “It means we aren’t playing monopoly because you’re a fucking cheater and you know it! You landed on my property ten times and never went bankrupt! Do you know what that is? It’s bullshit!” And even though he was chewing her out right now for last week’s attempt at the board game, it wasn’t as bad as when Penny flipped the glass table they were playing on sending both the pieces and people running.

Reappearance

    If he was honest, Damian couldn’t remember the last time he’s been in Gotham. Being with the league now, gave him little chance to return to the city. It was a recurring theme of further incidents occurring which required the league, that kept him away. All of them, essentially needing his assistance. The members suggested to him a chance to go back, and of course, he took it. It’s been so long, so tiring, that if anything he was actually relieved to be back. Yet, there was something he needed to take care of...Seeing Mari’ again.     While away, he’s sent letters, calls, and tried his best to keep in touch with her. If he knew in the first place it would keep him, this long away from her, he would have reconsidered assisting the league. Though what’s done is done and now he needed to see her.    

  Damian called, only being greeted with a voicemail greeting and when he checked her apartment, there was no success. It discouraged him, not being able to see her tonight. Where was she? Patrolling, maybe...He opted to try again tomorrow. He was hoping that she didn't hate him for staying away from her this long. Now he was having doubts. 

  Following his unsuccessful search, Damian returned to his own place. He was exhausted. Along with time, being in the league took sleep away. He opened up the door to his bedroom, only to find out that his search had been lucrative.     Laying in his bed was Mari’ sleeping soundly. The image alone brought a small smile to his face.    Damian made sure to slip off his shoes quietly, placing them to the side, then proceeding to lay down next to her. He instantly held her close, making sure not to wake her, pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head. She was beautiful. It was hard for him to stay up, but harder for him to not admire her. Yet, sleep won, causing him to rest next to her.

Wally had been awake and sleeping on a constant routine the last two days and he still felt exhausted.

Never could he have imagined that Mari could do these things, least of all to someone who had seen her grow up. Luckily the other’s came fast enough to save him in the end.

From Bats he had heard that she was in the Watchtower and despite everything...he felt the need to talk to her.

The doc’s and Bats told him that he still needed to rest and shouldn’t walk around so he did the only thing that was right. Not listening to them and making his way to the cells anyway. It took him longer than he wanted to but in the end he stood in front of the cell, tired, exhausted and panting.

And maybe he was. Tim paused as he passed a building, a familiar figure sitting inside, one he knew shouldn't still be awake this late. So this was Dickies current hide out, huh, Tim told himself to keep going, but his body disagreed as he found himself opening the little girls window, peeling off the mask so she would know it was him, kneeling by her bed. "Hi princess." His voice was soft, a gentle hand stroking through her hair. "What are you doing awake so late?"
