Thinking about the avengers team after age of ultron. The team that had a screen time of ten seconds together. That team that was lead by Natasha & Steve. The team that had Rhodey, Vision, Sam & Wanda in it.
They deserved a movie. It would have made civil war also a bit more emotional. Because it is easy to over look that these people all worked & lived together. They shared breakfast, watched movies, put bandages on each other after a rough mission, they pranked Steve, shared inside jokes, watched visions awkward flirting, watched the newest bachelor episodes because Nat said so & nobody says anything against it, shared joyful moments, talked about war trauma ect.
It jumps from age of ultron to civil war to quick. It overlooks the dynamic. It over looks the emotional aspect. Marvel should have done better.
Tony: *wakes up in medical* Steve: Welcome back, Tony. Clint: I wouldn't look in the mirror if I were you. Your face ..... Tony: WHAT? Give me the mirror! Natasha: Tony, the doctors did everything they could have...... Tony: *taking a peek in the mirror, nothing is wrong with his face* Rhodey: Unfortunately there was no way of fixing it. Guys, I was watching secret invasions and Rhodey wasn't Rhodey-ing. Like he wasn't like Infinity war Rhodey. Tbh, Endgame Rhodey was kinda different from Infinty war Rhod- HOLD THE FUCK UP-
Okay so since Tony is a huge AC/DC fan, I propose that Rhodey is a huge Black Sabbath fan. So Rhodey would obviously have Iron Man as his ringtone for Tony, and Tony would have War Machine for Rhodey. It would honestly be such couple goals.
