In light of some comments I got right after this post went live: I'm aware of the Monster Hunter in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. According to the character bio, that Hunter originates from Val Habar, which suggests that she's most representative of a Monster Hunter 4 player character.

Rathalos, King of the Skies
