I believe they are autistic because he uses very deliberate speech, he "talks with his hands", has the typical "dinosaur arms" while working, and often teaches his Ranger team lessons by giving examples instead of simply telling them like most neurotypical people probably would.

Also, he loves all the Power Rangers a lot, especially his own team and their power source, to the point of hyperfixation. (He literally travels around the galaxy documenting Power Rangers.)
