(Part 1) Well it's officially has been ONE YEAR since I became a fan of this little band called manfred mann so I decided to post most of my art and silly sketches of them I did since then!
My first and second ever drawings of Manfred (and a failed attempt) using the same reference xD
Mike Hugg from that mighty quinn performance I think (heavily inspired by Klaus Voormann but poorly executed lol)
Mike d'Abo!!
I actually sketched this trying to deal with anxiety one night (it helped)
WIP of this drawing which looked kind of cute at that point
I don't remember if I posted this here but I made Manfred yippee creature!!!!

Mike Vickers – Brass Plus Moog (1972)
The Beatles, circa August 5, 1969, celebrate the arrival of George’s Moog Synthesizer to Abbey Road EMI Studios Room 43 during the Abbey Road album sessions. George Harrison had some prior experience with the Moog and had Mike Vickers of Manfred Mann, also experienced with the Moog, to assist in tuning it in. The Moog was utilized that day on “Because”. Engineers Alan Parsons, Phil McDonald, Chris Thomas and Geoff Emerick, Producer George Martin, and Mal Evans also lend their expertise and varying levels of amazement to the moment.
