Inktober No. 26 - Intense

Painting this was way more fun than I expected. Used all the silly, fancy, and ridiculous brushes I never use in 'normal' life.

Heard me out this is a recipe that i have been practicing for a while:

AsmodeusMC/paimonMC: renegade prototyoe AU

Basically the primordial one make teyvat, HOWEVER just loke any creator you never get it right in the first try, in fact the 'modern teyvat' is the latest iteration of the same land being modified, edited and controled triying to create a "perfect world".

(Konda like the brothers of light and dark from rwby)

Every time he failed he destroy the world, deactivating ot and letting it fall in a sort of 'limbo' where, whitout the primordial one it os vulnetable to extern dangers loke the all decoring narwal or other beast from the sea of realities.

AsmodeousMC doesnt know what is genshin impact because tecnically it has been created yet, hoqever she has the bad draw of (at least in this AU) to have died while protecting his kids from their abusive father.

She reincarnates as asmodeousMC in the oteration number 202# of teyvat, in this version there are no visions, there is magic (for reference check frieren magic system) and there is alchemy (for reference read full metal alchemyst), and nothing is quite the way they are. The bearer of anemo (they are called bearers inestead of archonds for the ones that are selected or proven herself worthy of being chosen by the primordial one) is not one person but two souls abitating the same body whise name has been lose to time. The bearer of terra (geo) is a banzhio (i think that was zhongli lovers name?) For it was rex lapis the one to perish in her stead. The bearer of electro are the twins makoto and ei (makoto survive this world version of the cataclysm). The bearer of dendro is tetra a young yet firm leader shall the situation calle it (yes the name is the same of of zelda wind waker incarnation). The bearet of the hydro is samara a young adult how loves the sea and exploration. The bearer of pyro is mavuika a head-strong yet dedicated leader. And lastly the bearer of ice (cryo) edgar a man of few words that belibes than alchemy and logic rather than the more arcaic 'mystic arts'.

Another difference is that not all of these lands are connected in one continent, while some like the lands of the hydro and dendro lands are in the same continent most of them are separated by the seas, since this world is bigger than the original world that will be know as 'teyvat' (this world if called elysium).

AsmodeusMC is part of the shades of this world (the shades sems to be a condstant in every iteration but not nessesarily what role cover each one, and asmodeusMC doesnt know that). She is the shade of life or better know as 'the shade of supervivence' since she always seems to push people to try theur best to trive in nature.

AsmodousMC actitude and clossenes whit the 'lesser mortals' was always seem as a defect by the primordial one and her sister shades, but since it doesnt really interfered whit her job the primordial one doesnt saw nessesary to interfere whit her.

One day however the bearer of anemo started to question AND defy directly the primordial one and shades. Despite AsmedousMC pleas for the anemo bearer to stop he eventually manage to rally an small revelion, one that miserably fails ending in his death.

The primordial one saw this as the signal that once again this world had been an utter failure and was goong to abandon and let this world fall into limbo, however asmodeousMC kneel at his feet and beg him to let this world love, to bot punish everyone for the mistake of one.

The primordial one tell asmodeousMC that even if he leace this world alone on his one the lack of his presence would mean that shall some catasthrope like the all devouring narwal appear then this world would be in their own.

AsmodeousMC then play a dangerous gambit they tell him to make her human and let the world alone for 10 years, if the qorld was fallen into chaos then he may end this world, but if this world survived then he must let this world live, for it would have proved his value.

The primordial one accept, and asmodeousMC becomes paimonMC an young adventurer that dedicated her life to always appear and help in any cathastrophe that may happen.

It was thoug the abyss and other dangers were incredible dangerous and more than once paimonMC feel that everithyng will be lose, but making honor of the name and title that she once beared whit pride "life ALWAYS finds a way" was her moto.

And she succeded the world of elysium while not the perfect qorld it once was manage to trive and survive againds the indiference and cruelty of the void, abyss and limbo.

The primordial one seeing this was impresed, and so he alloqed this world to exist whitout his presence, however since paimonMC decided to stay in elysium the other shades leave, and so the primordial one would create the teyvat we all know, and create a new version of asmodeous.

Its been years since that day, for everyone (execpt the bearers that know the truth) asmodeousMC had sacrificed herself to allow this world to live, not knowing that she actually still walked whit them under her new name paimonMC.

However after a fight againds a void serpent thay wished to give herself a snake whit paimonMC world, the body floated between elysium and teyvat unknowingly connecting them.

It woulnd be until extrange temporal and little cracks start forming in the different nations start appearing that the two world, made from the same hand will meet eacht other.

And it would start whit one curious blonde traveller and his fairy companion.

SO what do you think of this concep? Think is good or maybe i go to overboard? *hands the meal and awaits the master chef juggement* 🥘👀

I... LOVE this! It so interesting! Elysium and Teyvat, so different and unique! And now they're combined! What chaos will come? Will the bearers recognize Paimon!MC? How will the Archons react to their counterparts?

...And will Paimon!MC get a pairing?

(Oh, and also, Zhongli's lover, or well, the goddess he was close with during the Archon war is called Guizhong)

Beyond The Mirror

A mirror stood in front of a shadow, a cookie giggling as he enchanted it with a beautiful spell of dimension-hopping. The Cookie? A beast known as Tainted Vanilla Cookie, a healer to the public eye, a heartless jester at night. He, like his fellow beast, was imprisoned within the fae kingdom and escaped.

The Beast of Ignorance, Tainted Vanilla, managed to escape, with his fellow beasts managing as well, so he went into hiding with his fellow henchmen, Corrupted Raisin Cookie and Strawberry Mecha Cookie, who stood by him despite his manipulative tension and unpredictable personality.

Today was a special day, a very special day indeed. Tainted used his magic towards the mirror, revealing an image behind it. They watched as the little clown enchanted the mirror. And the sight behind it made him laugh.

A perfect mirror image of Saint Vanilla Cookie, but he was…good? An ancient?

"Another you?" Gasped Corrupted Raisin.

"Oh, what joy! I wonder…" Tainted Vanilla chuckled. "He looks so…weak. He reminds me of that professor, Blueberry Milk..even has the same soul jam! What is your name, other me?"

"Pure Vanilla!" Cries Strawberry Cookie. "Wizard accidentally blew up the lab!"

"Oh? I'll be on my way," Pure Vanilla called out.

"Pure Vanilla?…even your name is as dull as his.."

"Ugh, can we strike already?" huffed Mecha Strawberry Cookie. "It's getting boring watching him."

"Patience," Tainted Vanilla smiled. "I want to see what's he like before things escalate."

"Boring," Mecha Strawberry pouted.

On the other side of the mirror, Pure Vanilla followed Strawberry to a nearby area where smoke and ooze surrounded the tiny corner of the boat, which made him giggle.

"Did something happen here?"

"Wizard Cookie," Gingerbread coughed.

"It was an accident," Wizard pouted. "I can't help that this ship is bouncy and unpredictable with its movements. And besides, you were a lousy partner!"

"L-lousy!?" Gingerbrave gasped. "But I was willing to help you!"

"Boys, it's alright," Pure Vanilla cooed. "Accidents happen, and we can't keep arguing whose fault it is. This place is such a mess."

"Yeah, you're right," Gingerbrave sighed. "Sorry, Wizard."

"It's fine…I'm sorry I called you lousy."

"See, now we are all friends again. Can we please clean this up? I don't think the Creme Republic would like this if they saw this mess."

Gingerbrave, Strawberry, and Wizard nodded before rushing to get some cleaning supplies.

"Children," Pure Vanilla sighed happily. "Wizard isn't the type to make this sort of mess, though. I wonder what could've happened."

Pure Vanilla chuckled again as he remembered that he was also the same at that age, so he couldn't be a hypocrite. Wizard was still a child who was inspired to be better, and Pure Vanilla admired that about him.

But his eyes couldn't help but stare at the mirror…it was making him uncomfortable. Mirrors were something he still didn't want to look at. Ever since his time in Shadow Milk's castle, he could never see mirrors the same way. It made him feel like he was always watched, no matter who it was, regardless of whether it was actually Shadow Milk or not. But Pure Vanilla should not let mere mirrors scare him as such, so he turned around and started to clean up.

As Pure Vanilla started to clean, Tainted Vanilla, Corrupted Raisin, and Mecha Strawberry watched.

"Is he afraid of the mirror?" Corrupted Raisin asked.

"He is." Tainted Vanilla remarked. "He is, like the coward I preceived him to be."

"Hm, he does remind me of Blueberry Milk," spoke Mecha Strawberry. "Wasn't he afraid of mirrors as well?"

Tainted Vanilla grinned like a cat as he walked towards the mirror, tracing his magic around it. Corrupted and Mecha knew that meant that he had a plan and was ready to hear it.

"You got something, Ol' Saint?"

"I do, sweet Mecha," Tainted spoke. "I could switch with him. We look almost identical."

"But what if people notice?" Corrupted Raisin questioned.

"And what do we do with him when we do sucessfully capture him?" Mecha continued to question.

"Well, my children, you can simply keep him here, or maybe just to torture him, let him pretend to be me!" Tainted Vanilla beamed. "It wouldn't be that horrible, now would it?"

"No, great saint, it's a perfect plan," Corrupted Raisin spoke.

"I'm glad you agree, my sweet children," Tainted Vanilla grinned, looking back at the mirror and Pure Vanilla. "Wait for my signal, my children. We should wait until he lets his guard down, and then we can strike."

"Finally!" Mecha cheered.

Tainted Vanilla watched how Pure Vanilla turned his back against the mirror.

"Dear me, that was a hassle," chuckled Pure Vanilla, looking back at the mess. "Best to check on the children. They are taking an awfully long time with those supplies."

As Pure Vanilla walked away, he heard something behind him. he froze, not knowing if he wanted to turn around to look, but he only hoped it was a clink of a glass.

Before he could register what was going on, he was suddenly grabbed by two unknown individuals and pulled towards the mirror. He couldn't scream as one hand covered his mouth. But as he looked, he felt the mirror turn fluid as they entered it.

To add to the horrifying scene, he felt his face getting lifted by a face….his face. The person in front of him was him?! But that was impossible, but the doppelganger was living proof of it all, and he waved in horror as the doppelganger transformed into a perfect replica of Pure Vanilla despite the lack of light in his eyes.

"H-hey…!!" Pure Vanilla gasped.

"Oh? So you do yell?" Hummed the doppelganger. "Pure Vanilla…"

"Who are you?"

"Hm, well, only for you," The doppelganger grinned. "I am Tainted Vanilla Cookie, a pleasure to meet the person I'm bound to replace."

"Hold him down Raisin! He's pretty strong!" Mecha pointed out.

"I only have one arm, pipsqueak!"

"Replace!?" Pure Vanilla repeated.

"Yes, it seems to me that I have one if not many worlds to corrupt under my palm," Tainted Vanilla whispered, getting close to Pure Vanilla. "I just knew you would get in the way of my plans. You are me, after all, and I can't wait to watch your face as your world crumbles down."

Pure Vanilla tried to struggle, but it was too late. Tainted Vanilla walked through the mirror, and despite his struggles, he couldn't escape the clutches of the minions; they looked down at him as he fainted, suddenly too weak to move.

Blueberry Milk had a bad feeling. He shouldn't have one on such a peaceful day in his kingdom, but he did. Blueberry Milk groaned as he floated high up to the highest shelf, putting books away.

"Blueberry! Blueberry!" Green Apple Cookie panicked. "Something happened to the sky!"

"What do you mean, my pupil?" Blueberry Milk pondered, now worried.

He landed down on the railing, opened the doors to the outside, and gasped as he noticed a black starry rift with a golden eye glaring down upon it. Blueberry Milk felt a chill down his spine as he knew what that golden eye meant, and he did not like it one bit.

"What is Tainted Vanilla doing?"

Mirror Prisma is here?!

some more silly doodles courtesy of the r/Kirby server's OC thread!! one of the prompts was to think about the mirror versions of our OCs, and i ~of course~ had to think about what the reflection of our dear sweet-toothed wizard Prisma would look like...

this is what i originally wrote about her --

"if Prisma is radiant and a light in the lives of those who know her, Mirror Prisma is the opposite — a black hole you’d be wise to evade, else you become enveloped in endless darkness. to become a mage is to make countless sacrifices in the pursuit of knowledge — and they’ve no qualms with trampling over others in that quest. deep down, she knows she is powerless, different, other — and she’s decided to make it everyone else’s problem. forever putting on a show, she will be the best, the greatest, the undefeated — but ultimately, she is nothing more than the queen of an empty kingdom."

but then i suddenly grew very attached and didn't want to make her totally irredeemable -- i'm not the biggest fan of characters "destined to be evil," and i think the possibilities for mirror characters to be more grey rather than completely evil if their regular forms are good-hearted are deeply fascinating and worth exploring!! she definitely needs therapy and perhaps a snicker's bar though!! truly, the moody straight-haired sister of Prisma Sugarsparkle from another mister!

a fun fact -- Prisma's magic circles have only 5 points, to represent a star shape (as opposed to Magolor's 6-pointed circles) and also reflect her weaker magical powers, but Mirror Prisma has indeed reached six! fun fact #2 -- she can actually drive a warp star without crashing! are we sure this is really Prisma's reflection if she possesses so much driving prowess?!?!?! /j
