One of our hosts has this story he's working on and ofcourse my favorite character is the problematic one.
anyway im actively trying to encourage him to make the story darker

Someone: if you hate this character then you clearly don’t understand their writing 😏
Me: no i fully understand their writting and the reason why they’re like this, and how well written this character is…….. i still think they are an asshole.
I hope the show makes Anissa's apology more earnest. Or better yet, just change her reaction from taunting to remorseful.
Yay, my first Ask! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts.
I wholeheartedly agree. I think Kirkman probably originally intended her as a more sympathetic character but then decided because she was the most recognizable female Viltrumite by then, she made the most sense to commit the act he needed for the male SA rep. But in my opinion, they went way too far with the taunting and then followed it up with a pathetic time-skip “redemption”. So in my opinion, things can only improve from here (hopefully).

It was intoxicating
Gold you’d drop in my palm
Small gifts you’d leave on the stage
A different kind of attention
Where I couldn’t tell if
I was playing a fantasy for you
Or if it was me, being played by you
