So these two iPods contain the entirity of my historical music library...traded Grateful Dead tapes that I've digitized and remastered...strange one off singles by unsigned bands...weird ephemera from my college radio days. In any case, the things on these are irreplaceable, not available anywhere and beyond special to me. When we started packing for our move, I had these two iPods out and ready to be packed. I forgot about them for a bit, and then could not find them. So I hoped they would show up. I unpacked and unpacked and still nothing. Then this morning I opened a random small box, and there they were on top. It was just a moment of pure happiness...and I cried a little. My scaley girls are all set up in their temporary homes while we sort out the remodeling work on the new place. I'm just happy to have them moved and set up. Moving is difficult. Moving somewhere where you don’t know many people is even more difficult. I have had family and friends around me since I got here but now I am finally on my own and my body is feeling it. I have barely practiced the past two weeks and haven’t been in a gym for over a month which has been unusual for me. My hamstrings are so tight and my muscles are weak but I am ready to get back into a routine and build my strength again. Had an adventure this morning. First post office refused to serve me; they were 15 minutes till closing and by themselves.
