Appreciation post for my partner cause shes asleep and I miss em

I adore em. Communication is so easy and effortless, I don't have to worry about em not wanting to communicate with me for fear of hurting my feelings, or people pleasing with me.

If something is unclear or crosses anything there's no dread of a bad reaction or taking it personally- just immediately question- reponse- solution

Always making solutions that are push pull in the best way. I communicate parameters, she sets parameters, and we decide a healthy mark that is satisfactory for both parties.

There's no hesitation when revisiting these topics or coming back for a check in, no weird tension or expectations. I love it. I love em. Im always excited to see she's online- but more than that, she feels comfortable- and that's so much better than any obsessive infatuation or nervousness over someone I love

Regardless of whatever we end up in the future, if she ever decides to go back to just friends or if we stay partners (which I hope we do), I will always love em and appreciate em

I wrote a poem years ago titled "All Kinds of Love" and then rewrote it 5 years later and... there really is so many different kinds of love that sometimes it chokes me up and brings me to tears.

My friend and my companion, of more than 16 winters now. How glad I am to be alive at just the same time as you are. How glad I am that I was lucky enough then to find you when I did. Cause I owe you not just my life but so much more. We were the weirdest kids we knew, and sometimes I think we still are but we are not alone.

My friend and lover, my darling sweetest soul, who knows me better than sometimes I think I ever did myself. How glad I am to be with you again. To get another chance at loving you and loving me. I hope that we'll share many years together still. You make me feel such different worlds of pure emotion. And in your image all my softest parts find themselves then at peace.

My friend and partner in this life, my darling, daddy-dearest, owner if I'd call it, who makes me glad to be alive near everyday. Whose jokes and whose so sweet and kindest presence brightens all of me. Who'd hold me close in every night if just the stars aligned for us. My player 2, my tank to all my healing needs, my ever-there supporter. I love you dearly and I hope that will one day learn to love yourself the same way too. And till that day I'll love you in your stead.
