Hey punch, I know that you prefer to make long series or one shots that imply as much, but how would you rewrite ml in a single chapter to end the superhero part? As in, we can move to the civilian one without drama or is it impossible with the LS around?
You mean ending the show now? Well, I'd end it at s2.
Nathalie is not in love with Gabriel, got pressured into being his akuma so seeing him get cornered was a relief. The brooch is taken from HM, Gabriel is exposed, Chat goes away quickly not able to handle the truth. Gabriel his caught and swiftly jailed.
Later, he returns his miraculous to Fu, along with the Peafowl that Nathalie gave him revealing that it's broken and was potentially the cause of his mother's state. Adrien approaches Fu to give him the Cat and Peafowl, reveals his mother's state, and Fu goes to revive her. Once revived and better, Adrien confirms to Fu that he wants miraculous out of his life. He is officially done and just wants to be with his mom.
Marinette comes by later when Fu is home and returns the Ladybug, Fox, Bee, Turtle, and Butterfly to Fu. He offers her Guardianship to her, and not exactly ready to give up on miraculous as they are a big help to people, she agrees, though its time to put away the earrings and takes on a new miraculous.
With Emilie's weakened state, the Agrestes plan to move to London to be with her maternal family while she heals. Adrien says his goodbye to everyone (only keeps in touch with Chloe and Nino as those are the only friends he truly cares about and has a relationship with).
New hero Marientte continues on, with a few heroes, old and new, making cameos to assist Paris' new residential hero. She actually starts dating Luka and is happy. Fu is retired and is happily with his long love Marianne.
Chloe and Lila become better with no Adrien to get in the way of Marinette calling them out, and Sabrina's father moving away, leaving Chloe Sabrinaless and needing to really adjust to not having her eager servant there. They do stay in touch and Sabrina is thriving without Chloe. It's no longer a thought to serve Chloe anymore. And with Lila, she had gotten called out by Alya, and the class confronted her long after and she had to own up to her lies. After two weeks, Marinette made that first move of approaching the isolated Lila, who begrudgingly accepted it, unable to really handle the cold purposely ignoring anymore.
Kagami came to town and her and Marinette hit it off immediately, becoming fast best friends. When Alya and Nino split due to tension, there's implications that there could be something happening between her and Kagami, though no one knows for sure.
A year later, Adrien returns with his moms, Nathalie and Emilie getting married a month ago.
He's happy to see Chloe and Nino again, says hi to the rest of the class, and later approaches Paris' new hero, asking if she is Ladybug.
He receives a vague answer.
Presuming that she is or that she at least knows Ladybug, he reveals that he is Chat Noir, that he is sorry for ghosting her like that, and admits that he had pinned some blame onto Ladybug herself for the outcome, but now acknowledges that the only one he should've been upset with was his father.
Later, the new hero comes to bring him the Cat, Adrien doesn't return to being a full time hero, but he joins the temp heroes, and enjoys seeing Plagg again. Coincidentally, Marinette makes more of an effort to connect with him and they are slightly better friends, though she's not in Adrien's tight circle. There are implications that Adrien and Nino may become more in the future, a far more true love than the fantasy Adrien stubbornly pursued last year.
Nooroo and Duusu are better and happier.
Everyone is happier and thriving.
