Click the little ribbon banner in the corner and create a collection called “nerdy workouts” so that it’s easy to find when you need a little time to de-stress and think about how cute Baby Yoda is. All you need is a mat and some peaceful music. Here are the moves: 1. Sun Salutation: inhale up, exhale forward fold, half lift, release upper body, step or hop to plank, chaturanga (lower body to the mat), updog (lift through the chest), down dog, step or hop back to the front of the mat. 2. Tree Pose: pull your leg into your groin and open up your lifted hip. To modify you can bring your leg to the ankle instead of up on the thigh. Try to Kew the foot higher or lower than your knee joint. 3. Warrior 3: press the lifted leg behind you and hinge forward from the hips. Try and keep them Square to the mat and hold with a slight bend in your standing leg. 4. 3 Point Balance into Half Moon Pose: hinge forward from the hips and touch the ground with the back leg lifted. If you feel stable, open up your hips and stack your shoulders to hold a half moon pose. As you can see, I wobble and fall quite a bit. Repeat this 4 times through on the right and 4 times through on the left adding the Sun Salutation in between every time.
