Neuix: Describing a Non-Neutrois individual that finds a neutral gender attribution befitting and considers it an essential facet of their gender identity.

A sibling term of Mascix, Femix & Gynandrix.

Etymology

Neuix was created to mirror the paradigm used for Mascix. Femix and Gynandrix.

From English, “Neu” from “Neutral” + “-ix”, an neologistic suffix used by other terms in this genus, originally based upon Apathmascix and Apathfemix coined by user Cybertroniancoining. Neuix was coined by Gent of Gender-Jargon, 2023.

Elaboration

Neuix is a complex and potentially contradictory identity in which one’s gender is not Neutrois, but has neutral traits attributed to them nonetheless, and this attribution is not only considered to be fitting by the individual, but an integral part of their overall gender experience.

More simply, a Neuix individual:

Has a gender identity that they consider to be Non-Neutrois.

Has traits of neutrality attributed to them by other individuals.

Considers having traits of neutrality attributed to their person to be agreeable and in a few, multiple or all manners at least part of the time.

Considers this attribution to be an intrinsic part of their experience of their gender as a whole.

A Neuix individual is not apathetic to neutral gender attribution, but instead enjoys, appreciate, entertains, welcomes or otherwise freely accepts neutral traits being attributed to their person. Furthermore, this attribution is a fundamental aspect of their gender experience.

Flag

The Neuix flag was created to match the Mascix, Femix and Gynandrix flags. The flag consists of three vertical bars and a central, horizontal bar, forming a tri-color flag with a median line. At the left is the darkest green, becoming lighter as it moves right. The median stripes is beige in color. The colors have the following meanings:

The forest green, green and light green stripes represents neutral gender attribution.

The beige stripe represents not being Neutrois.

Nomingender: umbrella term for all genders that are not masculine in nature. Also refers to a gender that isn’t fully defined but definitely unmasculine, or a gender in which unmasculinity is its defining feature.

Nofingender: umbrella term for all genders that are not feminine in nature. Also a term to refer to a gender that isn’t fully defined but definitely unfeminine, or a gender in which unfemininity is its defining feature.

Noningender: umbrella term for all genders that are not neutral in nature. Also a term referring to a gender that isn’t fully defined but definitely unneutral, or a gender in which unneutrality is its defining feature.

Since it comes to gender qualifiers, nongenders, ungenders, a-genders and antigenders might also describe these terms (such as antiningender, nonfingender, amingender & unfingender). Based on nofin-/nonin-/nomin- orientations, there are some mentions of them somewhere, not sure if someone officially signified these as coinages yet. Using «eugender» flags’ opposite colors.

I have been identifying as bi. However I use it in the way to describe I am attracted to femininity and masculinity, rather than two genders. I do not feel attraction towards androgynous/neutral people, so I am not pan. This would mean I am poly/multi, I do not feel like these are the right terms to describe my sexuality. So is there a term where one is attracted towards masculinity and femininity and does not care about a persons gender, but is not attracted towards androgyny? I am a demigirl)

bi works just fine for that! so does poly. you can identify as more than one orientation, such as homo/hetero, at the same time. i also just did a quick search and this might be helpful!♡

Nonin- Attraction to non-neutral genders, or attraction to femininity and masculinity only. Attraction to people who aren’t neutral or nonbinary identifying. NIN stands for Neutral In Nature.
