Chocolate Raspberry Oat Bars are a delightful combination of tart raspberry jam, rich dark chocolate, and hearty oats, all in a convenient bar form. These bars make for a perfect snack or dessert, with layers of flavor and texture to enjoy.
Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup raspberry jam. 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly. Press half of the mixture into the prepared pan as the crust layer. Spread raspberry jam evenly over the crust. Sprinkle dark chocolate chips over the raspberry jam layer. Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the top as a streusel topping. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
