Im sorry I haven’t posted in a while :,3 I offer you some OdyPoliPen as an apology.

I’ve been really loving this trio lately! Didn’t think I’d draw them again but after refining how I think they’d work as a throuple, they’re a new fave. Don’t be surprised if ya see more of them. >:]

Shipping EuryOdyPoliPen as the silliest polycule to ever grace this earth, Odysseus and Polites started dating first and they both had this big fat crush on Eurylochus but neither of them ever said anything.

Then Odysseus meets Penelope because he’s the king of Ithaca and needs to get married to a girl and he’s like “Woahhh what a woman she’s so smart and pretty she should murder or kiss me” but Penelope does not fall for Odysseus first, instead she sees Polites and is instantly head over heels because he’s sweet and charming and then eventually they all end up dating, I just know Penelope would fall for Odysseus because he does something massively stupid while trying to be smart and she’s like “never mind I want them both”

She and Ody get married but are both still dating Polites while having to hide it from the rest of the kingdom (it’s highly obvious and nobody cares)

And then Ctimene is about to marry Eurylochus but she is very much aware Eury is destined to become apart of the polycule, so literally on her wedding day she jokes to Odysseus about “stealing his second husband” Ctimene is our AroAce Queen though so she does not care at all, but it would catch Eury and Ody off guard so much and she would relish in that

But also thinking about Penelope had three husbands go to war and the only one who returned alive has his heart still out at sea somewhere

Bear with me here, this’ll be a really rough draft so there may be some plot holes, idk I’m tired 💔

an AU where Polites survives the cyclops attack, but Odysseus leaves before he wakes up from the hit. He builds his own raft and sails back to Ithaca, but when he gets there, Odysseus isn’t back. (This is like 1-2 years after the war, so Telemachus is around 11-13?)

Penelope doesn’t have suitors yet, since everyone still isn’t sure Odysseus is alive. Except Polites, who reassures Telemachus and Penelope that he is (he has hope!!). + he also tells stories of Odysseus to Telemachus and Penelope to keep their hopes up (but mostly Telemachus)

he’s kinda like an uncle figure to Tele, it’s cute

And uh, the plot for Odysseus stays the same with canon until he gets back home. (except he doesn’t see Poli in the underworld gasp)

Then, after it’s been almost 20 years, everyone’s lost almost all hope that Odysseus is coming back. Obviously there are suitors now, despite Poli’s attempts to reassure everyone, so Penelope asks Polites if he would (platonically) marry her if Ody doesn’t come back and he agrees. ( But she’s still stalling. )

((This might not stay in the AU though I’d like it to, but Penelope, Odysseus and Polites were in like, a polyamorous relationship? But Polites and Penelope aren’t like…romantically into eachother? It’s complicated. They both love Odysseus, Ody loves them but uhh yeah— they love each-other but just not romantically ig. Or, not exactly romantic but not exactly platonic. QPR? Idk. However you want to describe it. (Srry I’m bad at words lmao))

Polites and Penny see the storm and are like “omfg Odysseus” because they know only he could piss off the gods that much 😭

So Odysseus gets back, hears the suitors plotting and starts killing them (Tele and Ody were both disguised as suitors)

(basically just the canon)

when he’s done killing the suitors, before the conversation with Tele ends, he tells him that Polites is alive and with his mom in their room and Ody tells him to let them know he’s back. ofc they probably already knew cause of the suitors screams 😭 (Polites was keeping Penny company)

Then WYFILWMA happens and they both still love him ofc.
