1. Gar doesn’t have very clear memories of his parents, but from what he does remember, they were more worried about their work than they were about him. They treated his sickness and his mutation as more of a science project, despite the fact their child’s life was at stake. That’s why admitting his parents are dead doesn’t bother him all too much. 

2. When Gar was in the “care” of his guardian, he always claims that the man was only ever emotionally/mentally abusive. However, at one point his guardian shoved him down a flight of stairs and consequently gave the young changeling a concussion. He doesn’t remember the incident at all, and believes that he simply tripped down the stairs himself.

Any firefighter jay and officer dick fics, where there is competition between the two departments?

The only one that I’m aware of is Calendar Boy by empires, which is a really really good fic, but I haven’t seen any other fics like that.

What? I'm reading JayDick fanfic at almost midnight when I should really be studying for my chemistry test which is tomorrow at 7? Never! But if I was- which I'm not- i would recommend The Worst Secretary Ever by Chrystie, kate882 on ao3. Which I'm not since I'm so obviously being a proper student and studying.

lol I feel you, that’s almost always me and the one night I go to bed early and don’t procrastinate everything with fanfiction I’m up at 2am. I’m pretty sure fanfiction is just that important. But please make sure you study & pass your test, it sounds important <3

For what it’s worth: I know it’s early but I should not be crying over how funny that summary is. (which is weird because I’ve read this before) Anyway: super good fic by some super great authors.

For what it’s worth: Absolutely wonderful fic, the banter and misunderstandings and oblivious!dick, I love it.

Dick was angry. Damian can feel it. Not that the older male tried to hide it. Normally it was the young Robin that was the emotional one during these paroles. But tonight the roles were reverse. 

The Joker one a sick, sick monster. He knows where to hit home on all of them. Normally he targets the Batman, but tonight Nightwing was his victim.

They had failed to save those people at the circus. All because of one mistake Dick had made.But Damian knows now was not the time to point fingers.

“Grandfather once told me that it’s best to let the anger out.” Damian started again. “...And you were the one that taught me to talk things out.”
