Back in Gotham

I'm back ~~ and boy did I forget how gloomy this place is

There are a few things in Gotham that I would happily admit as something I would miss:

Gotham University for one. The Psych Department really is just the best, especially with the amount of research and materials we have access to. Not to mention, first-hand accounts!

Watching out the window at night. We don't really tend to see the Flashes when they do their crime-fighting, just the end part (or when they're running an eat-all-you-can place to the ground)

Uhh.. I can't think of another thing I'd miss. I mean. I'd say seeing the Waynes, but the only one I ever see is that caffeine addict

.... I forgot why I made this list in the first place.

Heeeyyy soo... the month's almost ending. Which means Thanksgiving (for those celebrating) and just in case I get too busy to post. I wanna make a headstart of the things I'm greatful for:

1. Of course, I wanna say thank you to the Flash, Kid Flash, Impulse, and all speedsters (active and inactive) for keeping Central City, my hometown, safe! ... and for keeping all the buffets in business - except for that scare 2 years ago (y'all know what y'all did 😒😒)

2. I also wanna say thank you to my parents and my brother. He's actually in Gotham rn. Dumbass came to visit me a few days ago and he's still hanging around Gotham.

3. My lovely bf ... aaaahhh . Anyways.

4. I'm thankful, of course, to the friends I've made while living here in Gotham. And are literally the reasons that I've got my grades as they are

5. And lastly. I would like to thank Mr. Freeze for deciding that it's never too early to start a white Christmas and has apparently decided to trap everyone under knee deep snow.

No. Really. Thank you. 😑

No one's been able to get out of the dorm building yet, but I think the guys on the 3rd floor are planning an escape plan 🤣.

Hey, everyone! So, I’m back with another post after a little break. I know, I know—my online presence is spotty at best (But I'm deffo still alive! The tap water hasn't gotten to me yet 🤣)

Anyway, I’ve been juggling classes and work so it's a little hard to find time to post sometimes.

Now updates:

• Mr. Cute Neighbor (no name for his privacy) and I are .... dating but not? Idk long distance is hard 😭 send tips please

• I've started seeing Ms. Quinn for our monthly sessions (she's still helping me with my classes - though I had to stay away for 2 months during that time she was back with Joker again. He's soooo bad for her - and NOT in a romance novel kind of bad. As in BAD BAD)

Anyways! Who else was affected by 'turf war' (it's cringe but that's what the Gazette called it) with Penguin and Riddler? Honestly! If they're having some kind of lover's spat keep the rest of us out of it 😮‍💨😢 They had to close the Batburger round the corner from my dorm cos of it!!

Especially since I also heard that Scarecrow REALLY hates one of the Professors and her class is the one I need help on...

So.. my friend suggested I open an account because she's, and I quote, "gotten sick of me ranting to her about Gotham". Honestly, I think she's getting scared for me 😓. Anyways.

My name's Melody 🎶. I'm a first year Psych student at Gotham U and part time working at Gotham Library. It's nice ... though I guess I'm still not used to the villains .... uh having these kinds of reasons (or lack of?) for their attacks.
