Animal Crossing Themed
I know I briefly mentioned Animal Crossing as an interest theme, but the more I think about it, the more I like it, so let's go a bit more in-depth.
Let's start with a headspace that would function like Animal Crossing; fair warning, I have only ever played New Horizons, so it will be heavily based on that. First of all, housing. If you would prefer a more compact headspace, this would be great. The houses would look pretty small outside but could be as big as you want them inside! This way, the sheer sizes of homes wouldn't clash, if that makes sense (a massive mansion next to a tiny house would feel odd). You could also have nature function like the game! You could shake a tree, and a singular piece of fruit or a stick just the perfect size could fall to your feet, or when fishing, the fish gets thrown into your hands after reeling it in (no hook issues!!) along with how quickly things grow (just a few days for a fully grown plant!), easily collectible materials, etc. etc. If you want, you could also make everything look like animal crossing. The trees could be three balls of leaves sitting neatly on top of a stump, the grass could have little shapes of different colors on it, certain types of flowers could look like they do in the game, the cartoony atmosphere, and more. If you really want to go all-out animal crossing, you could even incorporate some of the buildings from the games and give them system functions or just regular functions! For example, the Resident Services could be the front building or a place to contact certain alters (gatekeepers, protectors, caregivers, etc) for help. Blather's Museum could be used for memory and/ or information storage and just being a regular museum for fun! The Airport could be used as transportation between islands if you decide to have multiple for a different subsystem, for a different theme, for a certain group of people, etc. Nook's Cranny and The Able Sisters could be used to shop for various different things. The Campsite could be where new alters appear and/or where they settle while they work on creating a house.
