People on a paleo or gluten-free diet will love this Whole30 pizza recipe because it is tasty and doesn't contain any gluten. The crust is made of almond flour and is both crispy and soft on the inside. The fresh toppings give it a lot of flavor.
Ingredients: 2 cups almond flour. 1/4 cup arrowroot powder. 1/2 tsp sea salt. 1/2 tsp baking powder. 2 eggs. 2 tbsp olive oil. 1/4 cup almond milk. 1/4 cup tomato sauce. 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers. 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms. 1/4 cup sliced olives. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 425F 220C. Put baking powder, arrowroot powder, sea salt, and almond flour in a bowl and mix them together. Mix the dry ingredients together with the eggs, olive oil, and almond milk until a dough forms. Lay the dough out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use your hands to make a thin crust. After the oven is hot, bake the crust for 10 to 12 minutes, or until it turns a little golden. After taking the crust out of the oven, cover it with tomato sauce. Bell pepper, mushrooms, olives, onions, and basil leaves should be put on top. Put the pizza back in the oven and bake for another 8 to 10 minutes, until the toppings are warm all the way through. Before you serve, add salt and pepper to taste.
