Poképhilia: sexual attraction to, or arousal from, the sapient fictional creatures from the "Pokémon" franchise. A type of fictophilia.

Getting this one out of the way because of the controversy due to simple misunderstanding. Pokémon are canonically sapient and capable of communication with humans, on a human level. They can all understand human speech, and many of them naturally speak verbally or via telepathy, particularly legendaries and psychic types, and presumably all of them can learn to (if we go by Meowth, who is of a common species). Ones who have not learned to speak, or just don't, are just nonverbal and can communicate in alternative ways (I DO NOT mean body language, you cannot infer consent from that). They unquestionably pass the harkness test. I won't argue this. Not to mention that many Pokémon are essentially just branded furries.

I went ahead and made my own version of this flag because I can't really trust a lot of the existing para flags aren't made by people who support harmful paraphilic attraction since several of the ones I've found are from a wordpress blog that's dedicated to such things. Instead of the generic pokéball I used the love ball as my reference. Stripes are colorpicked directly from official art of the item.
