More art for my dear Tsukasa who is EXTREMELY fun to draw x)
He's a lot immature and free-spirited and he is obsessed with telling ghost stories and shirking his duties--but hey, maybe an Adventure will help with that x)

The Queen of the Anvil has an awesome new writing blog post out! She covers five worldbuilding styles you might want to try!

My friend Sam’s gnome lightning sorcerer, Doffy. She’s a tiny badass and absolutely the protagonist of our campaign, and I definitely haven’t nearly killed her at least once.
Process work for a character illustration I did last year.
Oh my god I never really lookes at the numbers I rolled for my character - age, weight, height.
No wonder someone recently mentioned Kilkenny is "huge". He's 6'7". I never bothered calculating that into centimetres. Turns out that's 2m! Woah. But I only weight 190lbs (86kg) as his weight. He's rather lightweight for that size haha. (For someone who I rather imagined as having some muscle. He's an adventurer on the one hand. On the other hand he fight with a rapier sooooo)
But I think he'll look intimidating enough when he's finally in heavy armour (after going into the Holy Vindicator prestige class).
Well maybe not when he's drunk. Or says anything. (Kenny. Is not the cleverest.)
How to deal with a Lawful-Good character
Having a Lawful Good character in a RPG party is always problematic. They rationalize everything in a closed-minded viewpoint that tends to get in the way of the rest of the party. Roleplaying Lawful Good characters is actually quite fun but their associated "rules" are a serious annoyance, mostly for the rest of the party. Here's an example from tonight's game of how to deal with Lawful Good characters. Characters Kyroxis A Neutral-Good Half-elf "investigator" skilled in deduction who lives only for the next mental challenge - played by David Bradr A Chaotic-Neutral Half-elf musician/pickpocket with seemingly natural skills in brutish violence - played by Tyler Delamare A Lawful-Good Merfolk who fanatically holds to his ideals - played by Jenny The Story Bradr came to the Golden Goblin Gambling Hall in Riddleport to enter the "Cheat the Devil and Take its Gold" challenge. His colleague Kyroxis is a high functioning sociopath who decided to come along in the hopes of fixing the odds of the tournament, mostly for fun. Shortly after the tournament began the establishment was raided by a group of bandits led by a mage. They planned to steal the devil's gold while it was on display to the challengers. Unfortunately for the bandits both Bradr and Kyroxis responded to the threat and skillfully dispatched the attackers, aided by a mysterious merfolk gunslinger named Delamare who (sorry for the pun) looked rather like a fish out of water. After the bandit threat had been dealt with the owner of the Golden Goblin hired Bradr, Kyroxis and Delamare to help "deal" with any of his other enemies. It seems that Saul, the owner, had many enemies amongst the crimelords in the underground of Riddleport. They wanted him dead. Each of the party chose to join Saul's defense force for different reasons. Delamare jumped at the prospect of eliminating criminal threats who opposed justice and righteousness, while Kyroxis was excited by a "new challenge." Bradr on the other handed was just delighted being paid to break noses. The first act of the new party was to interrogate the last surviving bandit. It was the mage. While everyone else was distracted by the delights of the establishment Bradr attempted to get some "alone time" with the prisoner. He sneaked into the prisoners room and persuaded Bayer, the guard, to leave them in peace. Now, alone, Bradr rigged the prisoner's chair over the fire using a blanket and the rafters as a pulley system. "Now," said Bradr with a wicked smile "my friend, you are going to answer my questions truthfully or I am going to slowly dip you into the fire. I'll roast you alive." "I'm sayin' nuttin!" The bandit shouted back. "I'm sure. Lets start off with a simple question. Who sent you?" Before the interrogation could take off both Kyroxis and Delamare burst into the room with Saul and two guards. The merfolk, enraged that torture was about to be committed, aimed his musket at Bradr and shouted "Cut him free, you'll not harm him while I still live!" "Oh, you're ruining my fun!" the Bradr responded. "Set him free!" "Fine!" And Bradr pulled the chair away from the fire and set it down. "If you want results you need to get your hands dirty!" Kyroxis, who had remained silent thus far during the encounter, turned to Delamare and suggested they get a drink at the bar. He pointed out that Saul, the owner of the Gold Goblin, probably wouldn't approve of the use of torture either, especially as it might shine a negative light on the establishment's reputation. He and his guards were now watching Bradr so it was unlikely any torture would take place. Wary, but convinced, Delamare left the room. He planned to keep his ears open though. As soon as Delamare and Kyroxis left the room Bradr grabbed the mage and tossed him out the window. The chair broke upon impact with the cobblestone road outside. At the sound of broken glass and furniture being destroyed Delamare sprinted (or whatever merfolk do to move quickly on land) back into the room. He entered to see Bradr's ass as it dexterously slipped through the window. On the streets the prisoner, while dazed, had managed to get up and had started running away. Bradr pursued him at a distance so as not to be seen and eventually caught him in an alleyway attempting to open a secret door. Bradr spear-tackled the bandit and subsequently began to "interrogate" him properly. It took only a few minutes to get the right information, and then the guards beset the alleyway. Fortunately, Bradr was long gone. He broke into a nearby building and went to return to Kyroxis with the information he had gathered.
