A lot of us end up struggling with not being taken seriously as fictionkin/otherkin, especially as our kintypes get more and more memed on. I assure those who actually care about you won't think any less about you regardless.

There's also plenty of kinfolk (like me!) who think that kintype is baller and far from silly. You rock, friend! You have this!

Today is an ow day and I've not been having a good week either mental or physical health wise but I've wanted to do a positivity post for a while.

+ Earlier in the week, a person followed me down half a street to return 20p I dropped, which was so appreciated as that was the difference between my affording some cheap biscuits or not.

+ Recently got a new charger and usb cables so I can now charge both phone and tablet at once without difficulty.

+ Charcoal insoles for my slippers make using them so much nicer.

+ I wrote more than I expected last year, about 165k.

+ Got accepted on a housing coop list so I have a chance at more affordable housing.

+ I keep getting unexpected compliments from people for things I didn't think were that remarkable. Realised I probably dismiss my skills/experience too much.

+ Got a wedding invite for a close friend and very excited to see them get married later in the year. It's a very non-traditional wedding which is very them too, love seeing people do it their way.

+ I started fermenting blackberry wine. We'll see if it's actually drinkable wine in about 4-6 months.

+ Today I've been batch cooking a curry with friends and later we're doing cookies too.

+ I managed to create art for the big bang I signed up for. Still trying not to sign up too much but I'm happy to have signed up for hartmon bingo and also to vid for equinox vid exchange because games as the theme was too tempting.
