Facing Fear with Ralph Waldo Emerson’s Guidance
Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, 'The things we avoid because of fear are often what we need to tackle.' This powerful message gave me the courage to overcome fear and push beyond my comfort zone. Embrace new opportunities today
Just believe in yourself
Most of the tension we feel is psychosomatic and can be released with perspective changes😇 ✨ I used to feel like I was in fierce competition with people in my friends groups, family and the workplace and it led me to behave in ways that come from scarcity🙈 ✨ I experienced and took part in workplace bullying because I thought if others do better then it’s taking something from me🥵 ✨ I constantly tried to dim the shine of others because it made me feel bad about my own lack of accomplishments but everything changed when I dropped the idea of being in competition with others🥳 ✨ As soon as I embraced the fact that there is only myself to compete with I started doing more for myself because the focus of my life is me and whatever we focus on grows💪🏽 ✨ Since adjusting my focus and making my competition with myself the only one that exists I’ve created a state of mental and physical health I used to dream of and it’s only getting better😇 ✨ Dropping the competition and comparison game means deleting scarcity based activities from our lives such as gossiping and instead using that valuable time to invest in our own growth🙏🏽 ✨ #growthmindset #growthquotes #growyourbusiness #personaldevelopment #personaldevelopmentbooks #coachingtips #personalgrowthtips #loveyourselfquotes #selflovetips #selflovejourney #beingabetterme #selfgrowth #innerpeace #innerstrength #innerwisdom (at London, Unιted Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBdO9iwHF8Z/?igshid=1799q28iip4s3
𝐇𝐎𝗪 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐃𝐎𝐈𝐍 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟔𝟕/𝟏𝟎𝟎!!!
Let's get a lil fancy with some 𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘴𝘺 𝘓𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴!
𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬:
- Keep chest lifted and and core engaged to stay balanced in this move. You may want to start with a lighter weight if this is your first time going a curtsy lunge
- Step behind yourself diagonally, while keeping torso facing forward
- 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Drop the weight and/or do not go as low in the lunge
Let's talk about 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 y'all. We are strongly encouraged to do it as coaches, since you have to pour into your own cup before you can pour into others. But before becoming a coach, I assumed personal development was for... unhappy or unmotivated people! I would have never considered using it myself. But our mindset is like a MUSCLE. And it needs to be "worked on" every day just like any other muscle! I would go as far to say that the people who think they don't need personal development need it THE MOST. I've learned and grown so much in my time as a coach because of personal development. It's the reason I can show up for you guys and for myself every day. It's the reason I have my positive outlook on life. It's the reason I'm 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨
𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲??
The late bloomer still blooms, be easier on yourself.
Just live your dream and you will succeed in every field.
𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟖𝟔/𝟏𝟎𝟎!!
We're doing some 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘈𝘳𝘮 𝘉𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘦𝘦𝘴 + 𝘙𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘣𝘰𝘸 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘴 today!
𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬:
- When jumping into the burpee, you probably want to have your legs wider than you are used to. You are literally making a tripod with your body, and giving yourself a wider base will make the move easier.
- Keep chest up in the lunges and slams! Use your arms to help you get higher
- 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: do the burpee with both arms, or step back one leg at a time. Take the jump out of all the slams.
Let's talk about 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐲'𝐚𝐥𝐥! Starting something new is never easy, but this process can really help to set you up for success! Here's the 3 keys:
𝟏. 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮
